AwfulPosted Apr 13, 2015
Dirty carpets and walls, strong smell of cigarettes everywhere and no tea and coffee next to kettle. No air conditioning. The receptionist was nice. I didn't feel safe walking to the entrance - when I eventually found it. It was so awful I had to check out and go to another hotel. This was one of your secret deals - I got a couple of quid discount for this deal!

Pleasant hotel, 10 minute walk from city centrePosted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful Pleasant restaurant with good selection of reasonably-priced food Easy walk to city centre Room was clean
Cons: Room decor needed freshening up Wi-fi was free when we booked but is now £3 per 24 hours. Compatibility issues.
Location: Easy walk to Cathedral, Richard III visitor centre, Guildhall
Very pleasant one-night stay. We ate in the restaurant, which was pleasant and offered a good selection at reasonable prices. Staff were especially welcoming, engaging and helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet. Wi-fi was free when we booked, so we were given vouchers but now it costs £3 per 24 hours - there's no excuse for this charge in this day and age. Not only that but the service was not compatible with my iPhone, though it was OK with my wife's. It seems that the more expensive the establishment, the more you have to pay and the more clunky the service provided!

Nice hotel conveniently located.Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Bar and restaurant, breakfast lovely
Cons: A coat of paint in bedroom
Location: 10 minutes walk to the Athena Theatre or Highfields Shopping Centre
The hotel staff were very accommodating in allowing us to order a late evening snack after the kitchen had officially closed which was much appreciated.

Good valuePosted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Very friendly staff, location + price
Cons: our room over looked the road and the heating was very hot so had to have the window open (in Feb) but the road was quite noisey
Location: Only 10 mins walk from town
Free parking and friendly staff. Bar looked nice (though didn't drink there). Simple hotel perfect if you're not spending much time there. Only 10 min walk to town

Stayed here for one night on the 21st Feb Overall not a bad stay, only thing I would say was the room was very hot in the night. On the plus the breakfast wasn't bad for the price

Good. But!!Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Location is Great.
Overall good. However, the bed was not very comfortable. The room i had was very small. On the up side, the location is very convenient. Close to market, restaurant, and bus station.

Clean and convenient with free onsite parkingPosted Jan 27, 2015
Price was right, room was clean - chose this over Travelodge as free parking right outside. Beer (Stella) on tap was a bit wishy washy but the breakfast was excellent.
