“Excellent Value Hotel”
I would thoroughly recommend the Royal Oak Inn. We were dealt with promptly on arrival despite the Inn being busy (they had a beer festival). The room was very clean and comfortable - the decorations and fittings were of good quality and looked like new, even complimentary toothbrush and shaving kit was provided. The food in the bar was good quality and very reasonably priced - breakfast was excellent and more than we could eat. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. All in all an excellent Inn to which we will definately return when we are in the area.
“lovely hotel with lovely food”
lovely hotel with lovely food. i stayed in a well sized room which was quite and secluded and overlooking the fields, very nice. food was excellent as was the service provided by the staff only downside was the very small ironing board which had to be put on the desk to use which made ironing more difficult than it needed to be - invest in some cheap full size boards - the rooms definitely have the space for them as well! other than that, thank you for a very nice stay!
