Nice B&B, ,near to city centre by busPosted Dec 23, 2014
The owners are young and friendly. Breakfast room almost too small, better 1 or 2 tables less. Guests should be able to choose a table rather to sit allocated. Breakfast buffet would be nice. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay though. Recommendable!

Modern accommodation with a warm touch.Posted Dec 17, 2014
We booked to stay over in town after a Christmas Night out. The Guest House met all our needs, we had a key to come and go as we pleased, no curfew. Room was cosy, bed and sheets clean and comfortable. Pillows were not to my comfort but that's personal preference I guess. We were at the top of the house so seemed like no one else was there it was so quiet. Morning was along the same theme, very friendly welcome at breakfast, nice pot of coffee on the go and lots of choice on the menu. All in all a great stay and recommended.

good guest house opposite a lovely parkPosted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly, the breakfast choice/menu was outstanding the bedroom was clean and the large bed very comfortable
Cons: overall appearance of the hotel was a bit tired and needed modernising throughout, shower was very small and cramped and the toilet was tempermental
Location: on an excellent bus route into edinburgh centre, and within walking distance of upmarket restaurants at the shore area and the royal yacht britannia
thoroughly enjoyed our visit to edinburgh, there is lots to see and do , we could probably have done with extra time in order to see all we wanted to so will have to return again

Hyvä palvelu & aamiainenPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com

My first choice of accommodation in EdinburghPosted Jul 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed here on two seperate nights in early July 2014, having also stayed here in July 2013 and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The accommodation is of the highest quality and the staff excellent. The choice of breakfast fayre is wide and the portions, if anything, too large (however not large enough to put you off) but beautifully cooked and presented. The location is ideal with a bus stop less that 100 yards from the door. The No 25 bus runs every 10 minutes and will have you in the heart of the city within quarter of an hour (the perennial roadworks on Leith Walk permitting) I understand that the current owners are about to leave so it is to be hoped that the new proprietors can maintain the standard already set. Marina will be a hard act to follow
