The hotel is in an older building that has been nicely updated. Note no elevator. Rooms are smallish but well appointed. Comfortable beds! Bathroom is very clean; shower only. A short walk to the main street, and other shops and restaurants. The dinner and breakfast here are very good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everyone speaks English well, which I greatly appreciated.

Great option for stay in Leknes
LOCATION Convenient location - located within walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and the airport. Central to many areas in the Lofoten Islands - if you are self-driving many of the main sites are within a 30 minute radius. ROOM The room was very clean and comfortable. The size was enough for me to spread out all my luggage. Adjustable heated bathroom floor was great for drying clothing and shoes. STAFF Friendly and welcoming staff that are available 24 hours at front desk. I arrived early well before check-in time and they happily arranged for my room to be made ready. Any other requests were not an issue - storing luggage, changing rooms, even sending mail. FOOD Great breakfast - best I had in Norway. There were lots of hot and cold options, make your own waffles and a great fresh fruit spread. A complimentary coffee machine, tea and hot chocolate were available in the foyer 24 hours/day. The in-house restaurant had great food but can get really busy - either go early, or reserve a table in advance (and be prepared to pre-pick your meal when you reserve). A variety of beverages and snacks were also available to purchase in the foyer for anyone wanting a midnight snack! Overall, I would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

The staffs are really friendly. Cosy hotel with very nice breakfast. The hotel is 1-2 minutes walk from the bus stop where we can catch the bus to Reine.

Clean and comfortable - and the included breakfast was excellent. Wished the window shades blocked more light (we aren't used to sleeping in endless sun) but otherwise very comfortable.

Great place for driving the island!
A great place to stay. An hour from the ferry. The room was a little small but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and WONDERFUL. All the staff were helpful from suggestions of where to visit and eat to preparing a take away breakfast for our 5am departure for the ferry. We gladly recommend this hotel.

It was a nice quiet hotel with comfortable beds and very nice breakfast with a large variety. They also served dinner which is nice when it’s pouring out and you don’t want to go anywhere.

Peaceful and clesn
Needed a place to stay before our early morning flight the next day. Area is quiet (as with most places in Norway) Scandic has a renowned breakfast. However, it was different at this hotel. Probably because of its size. Do not expect the breakfast to be like other scandic hotels. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Waited a long time to check in. The reception area is quite cramped and dark. Staff help in both the restaurant and service desk. I ordered one dessert from the restaurant that took 40 minutes to receive. The server realised this and told the chef it was taking too long. He argued with her about it and customers, including myself, could hear this. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good working WiFi. Lots of parking, and walking distance to the center.

Nice hotel close to airport
-Locate in city center -Fews minute drive to Leknes airport ,so convenient -staffs at receptions are so friendly and willing to help , They offer us a pack of sandwiches for breakfast because we have to leave early. -room is clean,bed is very comfort - hot shower worked well -wifi is fast -lots of car park

Great location for seeing the region
The hotel recently changed ownership and has been remodeled. The breakfast was excellent with more variety than a lot of similar priced hotels. You can walk to restaurants and shops, and it is only 5 minutes to the Leknes airport. Many of the famous beaches of Lofoten are within a half hour drive. We chose the hotel because a number of photography tours stay here. Indeed, during our stay in February, probably most of the guests were part of these tours or in private groups like ourselves.

Centre of Lofoten
It may be a good idea to start everything in Leknes by self driving. Best western probably is the best in Leknes. The hotel is cozy. The staffs especially Mr Kristian was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and more than the value we paid.

Close to airport.

Generally quite pleasant - location is close to the shops. Remember to ask for a room away from the restaurants - we stayed right above the dining area and breakfast/dinner/machine noise was quite loud. They were nice enough to move us upon request though.

Good hotel & location...
This was the second time staying here and a better experience than the first. Great bedding, good shower with ample hot water, very very fast and reliable wifi, close to E10 highway, close to airport, close to restaurants / shopping. Hotel can be busy / noisy with photographers in the winter season. Parking lot very icy and dangerous and needs to be addressed. Recommended.

Convenient hotel for photographers
Positives: great location, close to E10, gas, food, shopping, central for photo locations. Very fast reliable wifi. Good breakfast. Great bedding. Good reliable hot water in shower. Negatives: very noisy with photographers coming and going at all hours, lobby VERY noisy at dinner and evening if you room close to lobby or stairs. No elevator. Parking lot very icy in winter. Room cleaning could be improved.
