“It's a dog's life in Leland, NC”

A really good hotel experience, over all. The sofa in the King Suite is not comfortable to sit on, but it does open to a useful pull out bed which is perfect for our family. The property is dog friendly. They have a couple of areas with wide lawns for dog walking -- and even provide pick up bags. There were so many dogs at the hotel this week during our stay, it was like a fun dog park behind the hotel. My son was looking forward to the "indoor" pool, but it was not heated. The manager was concerned when I complained. Turns out the thermostat was bad. After their maintenance man made the repair, we were swimming in a nice, warm pool. The staff is very polite, helpful and responsive. The location of the property is across the street from a Walmart, down the road from several drug stores and a Harris Teeter. There are several nice places to eat in the same city block. Walkability is limited.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff were all very helpful. The owner of the hotel happened to be there when we checked in. He was very frindly and personable. Every encounter with a staff member was positive. The room was clean and a good size. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast bar was delicious and had a great selection. I wish that we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel more. It was close to Wilmington, the NC Battleship and the beach. Loved the entire experience

“Better than Home”

We always look forward to staying here. We have had nothing but top-rate accomodations. We would not stay anywhere else in this area.

Loved the hotel. For a family of 6 alot of hotels want two rooms booked. Our room had two Queen beds and a pull out sofa. The room had a nice size fridge and a microwave. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again. It's not right on the beach, but about 20 minutes from it. Carolina beach is very nice with free parking and showers and bathrooms. There is a walmart and places to eat nearby. Complmentary coffee and tea available all day.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Family and I enjoyed the breakfast. Overall a great experience.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend while attending a friend's wedding. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable! The breakfast was also stocked full of wonderful items to help us start off our day! I would recommend this hotel to anyone - thanks for a great stay!
