Pros: The rooms were decent.
Cons: Customer service, pool maintenance, and try not to leave the lobby TV on politically charged networks.
Location: Beach
This was the phrase the mgr said to me when I informed her that her hotel's "salt water" pool had bleached my wife's, my daughter's, and my clothes, tarnished our sterling silver wedding bands, and made my feet crack. It took days to get a hold of the mgr and she, like her staff, were completely dismissive and uncaring. So stay (and swim) at your own risk, folks! She didn't offer, or even consider, any sort of compensation for the jewelry cleaning or new swimwear. She simply couldn't be bothered.

Hotel was not what I expected, not close to beach

Pros: the staff, free breakfast, clean room and hot water
Cons: the internet service
Location: Wilmington beach was about 25 minutes away and you have the Battleship museum and Downtown Wilmington has a lot of site seeing and some restaurants.
My experience there was very pleasant from the staff the the breakfast in the morning, good hot water and room was clean but the internet sucks. I will stay there again. Wish the beaches was a little closer.

Very Comfortable hotel; just 'OK" staff

Pros: Very comfortable room; great breakfast; good price.
Cons: More personable, engaged staff. Maybe a lesson in what it means to 'go above and beyond'. Would compliment the great things about this hotel perfect
My wife and I found a good deal on expedia to stay here. It was pet friendly so we could bring our daughter Princess, which was really convenient. Didn't see any fleas or hear loud barking dogs, so definitely a plus! The only opportunity here would be the 'OK' staff. ROOM: Very comfortable. Both my wife and I were very pleased with how comfortable it was here. The beds were amazing, room spacious, bathroom/tub/shower was awesome. Very clean too. The Cable left a little to be desired; not many regular channels, but a lot of On Demand stuff. One minor issue: our hallway smelled a bit musty for some reason, but it wasn't much of a problem. Breakfast: The breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious! The older lady serving was so sweet, friendly, and kind. Just wish she could retire completely and enjoy life more. Staff: The only issue I had with this hotel was the 'just ok' staff. In the competitive world of customer service, you expect the customer service to be memorable. The staff here were all nice, but no apologies were given when our hair dryer went out (twice), just a replacement was given. No 'hellos' or 'how are yous', simple pelasantries. Just simple 'let me get you checked in' and 'out' service. Again, not a deal breaker, but someone at least act like they enjoy what they do. Their was a younger blond girl that helped that at least smiled, but again, mostly catered to the professional side and not to the personal side

Very nice hotel

I and my husband stayed at this hotel last weekend. It's 20 min away from the closest beach. It has very nice and clean rooms, friendly staff. The only thing I would suggest them to improve is the room isolation. You can hear your neighboors even when they just watch tv. Anyway we liked this hotel and we would recomend it if you are planning to stay in Wilmington area

Weekend at Holiday Inn

Pros: the location
Location: I liked that the hotel is nearby eateries and in close proximity to Wilmington.
Although it was raining when we arrived Friday evening, we were (my husband, daughter, and I) were greeted by a very professional staff. After a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Charlotte, we were pleased to see the spaciousness of our room. I absolutely loved the closet space! And the pool was a delight! My daughter enjoyed swimming in it with her daddy. All in all, my experience at Holiday Inn Express was an exceedingly good one.

Nice hotel in the Wilmington, NC area

Pros: Cleanliness of the entire hotel.
Cons: They need an outside swimming pool!!!
Location: There is a Walmart right across the street. Anything that a guest needs, try the front desk...then if they don't have what you need, head to Walmart.
This is my first stay at a Holiday Inn. It was AWESOME!!!! A . #1 I really don't know what else to say. Everyone was so helpful. And the breakfast was absolutely phenomenal!! A great variety of foods to suit everyone's lifestyle.

Holiday Inn NC

Location: just stopping in town between destinations
