Weekend stay at Talbot Hotel

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Traditional, friendly hotel
Cons: The bedrooms could do with a refresh
Location: Whilst in leominster, we visited, Hay-on Wye (the bookshops), some National Trust properties and a short visit to the Antiques markets in Leominster &
A very plesant stay in the Talbot Hotal, Leominster. It's an old traditional hotel, none of your mod-cons, but that's not a criticism. We were on the top floor, at the front and because it lacks double glazing, street noise can be a distraction. The staff were very friendly, the food, both the bar snacks and the breakfast were really good. The only not so good comment would be that the rooms are a bit tired and could do with a refresh.

A bit average but OK

Pros: The staff
Cons: The dribble that was supposed to be a shower
Location: If you want to be in Leominster, location couldn't be better.
The premises and food were unremarkable but the staff were great.
