Pros: Breakfast offered a vast range of food and drinks and was worth the price paid. The hall and bar look very good and the location was perfect.
Cons: The staff should be able to speak to non-French speakers in English fluently. The internet doesn't work in the rooms.
Location: The hotel is close to Versailles, but there is not much around.
My experience in this hotel has been disappointing. On arrival, the receptionist told me the internet wasn't working. It actually never worked in the room although on Expedia, it was advertised the hotel had internet in the room. It's not true, it only works in the hall and for business travellers not having the internet is simply disastrous. One day, in the morning the electricity in the room went off, but, at least, the receptionist was very kind and resolved the issue immediately. The day after, however, there was not hot water and I had a cold shower (lovely in November). The experience in their restaurant was extremely disappointing too and some of the staff in both the hotel and the restaurant couldn't speak English. Finally, we ordered some taxis through the hotel and, in addition to being often late, they charged us about 20 Euros every day for a 5 minute trip.

Friendly Service, Nice location, good pricePosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice location in the country and not far from Versailles. Price was good for the room. The food in the restaurant was good, and an ok price. The room was dated and in need of decoration, but comfortable.

Not a very warm welcome, the reception, could have informed us of WiFi we had to ask. The hotel was a bit out of the way, no public transport available to take us to Versaille, had to hire a taxi at quite a cost.

Dated but fairly pleasantPosted Jul 18, 2012
Cons: Noisy plumbing systems - take earplugs!
Location: Good for visiting Versailles by car
The hotel was clean but pretty dated. Would benefit massively from an overhaul. No air-conditioning meant it was very stuffy in July and couldn't leave windows open due to outside noise (a terrace was directly outside our window). Pipes and plumbing very noisy during the night and early morning. Staff were very friendly and good location for visiting Versailles by car.

The hotel itself was really nice and comfortable to stay in. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful and helped me in English. It was out in Versailles, about an hour from Paris city center, but comfortable and beautiful. Hard to find from a bus stop/on foot but doable if you take the RER C. I would stay here again, but would look up better directions next time.
