A nice place to stay, when you need to get away.

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: The staff. The coffee. The comfy lobby areas.
Cons: Our bed was awfully firm/hard. We would really like an in the building, working jacuzzi.
Location: Lewiston, ID. Snake River, rafting, boating, fishing, camping, hiking, picnics, scenic drives.Sue
While we were somewhat disappointed that the pool was not functioning and the jacuzzi was clear across the parking lot, they upgraded our room to an executive suite, and it made a brief get away even better. The staff were very polite and friendly. Surely there are times when the place is hopping with meetings, conventions and special guests, but we were fortunate to be there on an exceptionally quiet weekend, and it made our visit a quiet restful one. We accidentally forgot a special item when we left, but they mailed it to us the very next day!

Location: We stayed during the Christmas season, so we had a great view of the Christmas lights in the railroad park.
Older hotel, yet well maintained. Clean, comfortable room, easily accessible location.

Great location.

Pros: My son and his friends enjoyed the gourmet self serve coffe/drink machine in the lobby.
Cons: We stayed as a large (and sleepless) group traveling for a tournament due to poor beds. An onsite pool would be great instead of across an open lot.
Staff was extremely friendly and cooperative. Very pleasing and family friendly. We were upgraded before we got there to an executive suite with no additional charge. It was a pleasant surprise.

Misleading

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Clean
Cons: Don't over promise and under deliver.
Was not told continental breakfast was not included, and needed to feed a boys basketball team early in the a.m. Pool was not in the building, but across the street at a health club, which was unfriendly and refused to give us towels.

More or less convenient location

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: The coffee machine in the lobby
Cons: the toilet paper and the soaps and the 4th floor plumbing
Location: close to central Lewiston/Clarkston with plenty of restaurants nearby
Hotel advertised an indoor swimming pool however what they didn't tell you is that the pool is 100 yards across an open parking lot in the adjacent alethic club the share with trainers with classes going on , no fun in the winter time.

Too expensive

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Location: Located in a strip mall.
Given the physical plant (a bit run down), lack of complimentary breakfast, quality of bedding and television the $200/nt was way too expensive. In the past 2 months I have spent time in Dallas, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Arllington. This Red Lion was the outlier....among the most expensive and with out a doubt the worst property.
