Front office staff incredibly rude.Posted Oct 5, 2013
We were told when we got to the hotel that we didn't have a reservation. Our room had been reserved under Jr and not Forrester. The front staff essentially fought with me over the reservation. They were extremely rude, and I literally had to walk away. The rudest girl had long dark hair, probably in her early twenties, in dress clothing. She appeared to be training a new employee.

Country inn and suites below parPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was not a typical Country inn and suites stay. It well below par. We will not stay at this one again unless something changes.

Best in LexingtonPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've stayed in over a half dozen hotels in Lexington, and this is by far the best. Most convenient, good breakfast, upscale rooms. Beds weren't the MOST comfortable, but they were good.

Close to VMI and W&LPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our King Suite was a perfect getaway for our VMI Cadets to spend the afternoon watching football and relaxing. Two families in adjoining rooms and the suite sitting area was our "den away from home". We look forward to our next visit.

Moldy, and dirtyPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: It was close to downtown Lexington.
Cons: A thorough cleaning and mold removal.
Location: Lexington is a wonderful area with many shops and interesting sites.
Upon entering our room, you experienced a strong mold smell. The carpet was badly stained in multiple spots (especially one large one at the foot of the bed), a chair had a large stain on the seat, in the bathroom above the tub area had mold growing on the ceiling and some on the wall. Under the spicket of the tub was mold growth, on the rings of the hand rail in the tub was mold growth, the toilet was unsteady, the filters in the air conditioning unit looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a log time, the shower curtain bottom was discolored and had spots of mold, the room needed a thorough dusting, and their was a cobweb from a picture to the ceiling above the first bed. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, nothing was done. Even the stair leading to the 2nd floor were dirty. A huge disappointment.
