One night stop over

Pros: location, pool
Cons: the smell
The hotel itself was ok. Good location, good pool. Breakfast was ok. The bigger problem was the damp floor in front of the TV but more annoying was the horrible mildew smell in the room. It had to be coming from the air vent that probably wasn't cleaned anytime in the last many many years. The smell was bad. When I went to the front desk to get a light blanket since the room only has one light blanket in it but yet two beds I told the front desk lady about the smell and she said "oh, ok thanks for letting me know. I'll have someone look at it tomorrow after you leave". Not even an I'm sorry or even a little bit of concern that I wasn't satisfied. But overall the room did what it needed to do for us for the night.

Too expensive for what we got!!!!

Our experience was not good at all. The window in our room was broken, so we heard all the outside noise, there was a terrible smell in the room, not a fresh, clean smell T all and there were stains on the shower curtain. I would not recommend the hotel at all.

Close to Natural Bridge and the breakfast was good

Pros: Location. It was close to the attractions.
Cons: Staff started cleaning earlier then the 11:00 rule.
Location: They did have a WONDERFUL ZOO. This was one of the "BEST" zoo's I had ever visited. What a nice surprise to find in a rural area.
Disappointed in the pool size it was only 4ft deep. The pool and hot tube wasn't as clean as I had hoped. Found a band ad in the hot tube.

Overpriced hotel

I was expecting something wonderful for the price. Could have gotten the same experience at a much less expensive chain.

Lexington hotel

Room was okay, but no table or chair (except the desk chair). The common area was extremely hot (in the 80's) which made going to the breakfast area almost unbearable. I tried eating in the meeting room where I could crank the room's AC, but was chased out by the staff. We opened windows, and the staff reported that they turned off the heat. They didn't turn on the AC though so it remained hot until we could escape before baking.

Reservations through Expedia were in correct. Local hotel staff are very welcoming!!
