An OK stay

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The staff were helpful and it was quiet.
While the staff was helpful and nice, the rooms were small. And traveling with our teenager, we seemed to be in each others' way. The air conditioning was temperamental and there wasn't any in the hallway.

Nice hotel stay

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Clean, up to date hotel. Surprised by the $20/ day charge extra on my credit card bill after checkout. I still can't find where it said there was a daily resort fee on their website. I thought I was getting a good deal, but not as good as I thought. Not a whole lot of pool towels, they seem to ration those. I called down for an extra blanket, the man said he was the only one in the building and he couldn't bring it at that time.

Comfort away from home

Posted Aug 16, 2014
The stay was great. After being on a plan for most of the day I needed a break. The staff was just like family. A warm greeting and the room was clean and comfortable. I will stay here every time I'm in the area.

Cons: Cleanliness !!!!!!
Actual mud in the bath tub, feces splashed on toilet seat. Will never stay at a Marriott again.

NIce Hotel

Posted Aug 4, 2014
The hotel was very nice. It was clean, quiet and a good location. The jacuzzi was a nice surprise as it is not mentioned on the web site anywhere. (The pool is, but not the hot tub). The only negative was the service. I ordered a roll-away when I booked the reservation. I reminded them of the roll-away when I checked in. When we got to the room - no roll away. I called the front desk and reminded them we did not get our roll-away and then we left for the afternoon. We got back to the room around 8:00 and still no roll away. I ended up sleeping with my two boys (7 and 10) in the King and my wife slept on the sofa-bed.

Excellent hotel experience in Lexington!

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
First time that I have chosen a hotel in this area of town... definitely a few miles out of town but worth the extra few minutes of driving. Excellent accommodations!!! The room was updated, spacious, and overall, excellent. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Again, can't praise the accommodations at this hotel enough... if you need a place in Lexington, definitely the one to choose. Go in time to enjoy the room and pool though!

Expedia reservations are very misleading

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Nice balcony.
Cons: Fix the stair treads. Clean the tub a little better.
Location: Nice location. Had breakfast at Denny's and left.
Recently took a trip to Orlando and stayed at a Courtyard Marriott on the way down and back. Picked these hotels, via Expedia, because they offered (supposedly) rooms with two queen beds and a pull out couch which I thought I had reserved, we have 5 people in our family. The rooms/hotels were nice enough, but at each was told that the reservation (via Expedia) was for a two queen room and there was nothing they could do, not even a roll away bed, so my son slept on the floor. Not the way I wanted to start or end our vacation. It wasn't the hotels fault, although they weren't very helpful. When you request a reservation for 5 people I just assumed they would give you a room that can sleep 5 people.

Good Night's Sleep

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Room was comfortable and quiet. Bed was comfortable
Cons: A short description and map from my desk clerk would have made me more comfortable when I went to my room. I had had a long day.
Location: I stayed in Lexington because I tried to get a room in Cincinnati where I watched granddaughters in a musical. There were no rooms in Cincy.
My GPS took me to the front door and check in took less than two minutes. It was so quick I was a little disoriented, but found my room.
