“Visiting VMI”

We were in the area to visit VMI. The hotel is LITERALLY right off of the highway! As soon as we exited, it was right there...no missing it. It is only a few minutes away from the college and downtown which made it easy for us, not knowing the area at all.The staff @ the desk was very helpful and friendly. We had two rooms booked, and although we didn't ask, she made sure we had adjoining rooms because of the names on the reservations, which was extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing special or extraordinary, but just enough of what we needed for our purpose there. We did get a special rate through Expedia because of advance booking, so it was less expensive and also very convenient already being pre-paid. Aunt Sarah's Pancake House is the restaurant at the hotel. (not IN the hotel, but just outside it and also where the check in desk is.) The food was great and the service again, very friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable. It is a great hotel for a weekend visit to visit the colleges and downtown.

“ONLY if you're looking for the cheapest place in town”

You'll be dealing with everything from odors to slow or stopped up drains. Don't count on much hot water if you're cold or ice if you're hot. They only had two machines (one had a sign on it that saaid it was broken and the other just didn't work...hummm). Spoke with other guests and all had something wrong with their room. Location is just off of the interstate and only 10 minutes from VMI, however, it should be your last resort.

“Not Impressed”

I was not very satisfied at all for the amount of money that I paid!

“You get what you pay for here.”

We did not expect 4 star accomodations for the price, however; the room should have at least been clean. There was considerable amount of trash under the desk at the wall which we had to access to plug the light fixtures in. The carpet was wet in front of the refrigerator.

“Days Inn Lexington, VA”

Runned down and worn. Rebadged to Days Inn of what was once very seedy place.

“Good and Cheap”

This was a nice Hotel it was in a good location. The staff were very nice and helpfull. The price was reasonable. I will stay again...

“"Great Stay"”

Room was spacious. Everything was clean. Pool area was perfect. This motel has a fantastic restaurant attached. Very close to interstates and downtown Lexington.

“Spend a little more”

The price we got was undeniably good, but I found myself wishing I had spent a little more. The hotel was very old and not cleanly, the only redeeming quality about this hotel was the Restsurant at the premises too bad we didn't get a discount for being hotel guests.
