Adequate motel near interstate in safe location.

Posted May 1, 2014
Pros: Convenient to interstate and safe location.
Cons: .Air conditioner was extremely loud. Sink was almost clogged. Drapes did not close completely. Hangers fell off the clothes rack.
Location: Food and gas nearby and good areas to walk my dogs.
For the price, the motel was ok. I decided to take my 2 large dogs at the last minute, called them and was told they would be $15/each/night. But when I arrived, the sign in the lobby said $10/each/night. They charged me the $10 rate.

Not a goodnight's rest

The doors slamming next to your room are easily heard. If you can sleep on the hard beds, the neighbors barking dog might wake you up. It was def a get what you pay for stay. Nice lady at desk, but the place needs some updates.

Avoid at all costs

Worst hotel ever. Checked in about 11:00 PM, room was hot and air conditioner not working and sounded like a meat grinder. Called the front desk and woman said the last person in the room did not complain, I told her it was too hot not to have A/C, so she offered to send a fan up. Told her I booked a room with A/C and if she didn't have one, I wanted a refund. "NO REFUNDS!" she yells. Said she would see if there was another room, they were book to the gills because of a college football game. Finally had me move a few doors down, this room stunk like puke. Doors in the room were covered with stains, slop, gawd knows what was on them. A/C knob just turned and turned, could not find the stop for heat or cold, so just had to guess. Left at 6:00 am, couldn't sleep because of the foul smell in the room, hallways have no lights so you have to go down the steps in total darkness. This place is a DUMP and that's the kindest thing I can say about it. Stay away. This place is filthy and nothing works.

First issue was that I had reserved a room with King bed but when I arrived only rooms with 2 double beds were available. Bed was quite hard and gave my wife back problems. Area appeared relatively safe. Variety and range of restaurants available. Some staff seemed to be inexperienced. Arriving late in the afternoon still had to wait to check into the room. The room was acceptably clean. overpowering disinfectant or deodorizer smell.

weekend getaway

Pros: Manager was very nice and location
Cons: update, fix door, more comfortable actual size beds. Pillows were like air between to pieces of clothe
Location: Great location in richmond with lots of great restaurants and shopping.
I only live an hr from richmond but wanted to stay close for the annual boonesboro car show. Our hotel was to have a queen bed. It was a full bed..not queen. There was a 2 inch gap under our door in our room. Any animal could have joined us. If it had been winter, this room would be extremely cold. The shower curtain was molded. overall the room was clean and the hotel manager was very nice but our room was like a matchbox decorated in the 70's. The parking was terrible. Spaces were very small and not enough parking places to accomadate patrons.

Staff was extremely friendly/courteous. Room was clean, beds pretty comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Only noticeable problem was water leaking out when using the shower. Breakfast is limited but it does the job. Coffee was really good. Overall very pleased and extremely affordable!

Filthy Hotel

This is a great disappointment for Days Inn; the pillows were yellow the carpet was disgusting and pictures on the wall were filthy splattered with who knows what - I stayed for 5 hours and left because of the stench of old smoke and dirtiness; - the phone was disgusting - loaded with crud - the tv changer was duct taped! I asked to stay on the first floor in the front as a single female and the manager said yes if I paid her $5 more
