“doable for 1 night”

We said in this hotel because all others near Lexingtin Virginia were booked for the big Virginia Military Institute weekend. It served its purpose and gave a a place to sleep comfortably. Although the hotel common areas felt worn down are room was clean.

“Not interested in returning”

Our reservation requested adjoining rooms as a family of 6. Our rooms were side-by-side but did not adjoin. The tub in one room had a clogged drain. So after the first of our children showered, we asked for maintenance to open the drain. Instead of opening the drain, we were switched to the room which did adjoin the second room, but was a higher priced room. We were allowed to stay without an increase in charges since the tub had a clogged drain. The couch pulled out to a double bed, but was not comfortable. The sliding glass door to the porch was difficult to open. My son got stuck on the outside for a while and was frightened as he saw me struggling to let him back inside. The contenental breakfast was satisfying enough, nothing hot except coffee and tea. The children got enough to eat so I was pleased.

“Convenient and comfortable”

Our son attends the Virginia Military Institute and we have frequently stayed at this Days Inn when the motels in Lexington proper are all full. It is a really good alternative for us. Cons would be a rather uninspired Continental breakfast assortment and the "No Pets" policy.

The hotel room was so clean and so neat

“Fine for a quick night's stop. Nothing fancy; breakfast OK.”

Hotel was satisfactory for a quick stop. Out in wilderness. 15 miles from anything. Staff did not appear to be that well trained. But, overall for the price, this was an acceptable deal.

“Skip the breakfast”

Hotel was in a good location and clean. For the money, I thought it was good. However, the free breakfast in the morning was horrible. Not much selection, and what was there didn't look appetizing. We went elsewhere.

Hotel was wonderful LAST year. What a difference THIS year. Rooms umkempt,in dire need of maintenance,pool was CLOSED when we first got there.We were told that it would open the next day although the maintenance personnel was unreliable and needed to pressure wash the mold out of it!"out" of needed bathroom toiletries.Carpets filthy

“It worked for us”

We were not expecting a lot from our hotel, it was a quick stop on our way to our vacation destination, comfortable and clean though somewhat worn, and it was cold and rainy that night, we were glad to settle in for the night. Easy on and off of freeway.
