Comfortable But Not Close to Nashville Sites

Pros: It was clean and breakfast was included.
Cons: Night staff could be more helpful with information at check in, like time for breakfast and how to connect to WiFi.
Location: A little far from Nashville but close to Hermitage.
The night clerk was not very friendly or helpful. The day staff seemed more friendly. The breakfast was good, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Marriott-Lexington North

Pros: Location, right off the interstate.
Cons: More attention to detail, cleanliness of rooms, additional bathroom amenities.
Location: Not many choices for sit-down restaurants. Cracker Barrel next door (I got sick after eating there) and a restaurant in a nearby Sheraton property.
The location was very convenient, right off the interstate. The room was 'adequate' but I found the housekeeping of the room to be less than satisfactory. The bathroom fixtures had water stains on them, the only 'amenities' were shampoo and cream rinse, no lotions, etc. The bed itself was a bit 'weathered' and not very comfortable. I usually stay at Hilton properties and I found the Marriott property to be several steps below that of the Hilton.

Dear P, I am sorry that your stay at the Fairfield was less than satisfactory. We do have lotions at the front desk, but it is not a part of our in room amenity package, but we do hand them out free of charge at the fronr desk. Thank you for choosing to stay with us on your recent trip to Lexington. I know that there are several hotels to choose from in the area and I hope that we can have the opportunity to make your next stay with us more enjoyable.

Very nice accommodation

I was traveling between Wisconsin and Virginia found this motel on line I was extremely impressed considering staying there on my return trip

Late night glitch

Pros: The hotel was clean and neat with a very nice breakfast.
Cons: Make sure if someone has reserved a room they get with they reserved.
We arrived at 12:15am to find they didn't have a room with 2 queen beds which had booked a month and 1/2 ago. They only had a room with a king and a pull out bed. We were traveling with my mother who is 86. She had to sleep on the pull out which is not a pleasant experience to say the least. I had to make up this sofa bed at 12:30am after traveling for 10 hours. I was not very pleased with the situation. The desk said that I must have booked a king but I had the paper work which plainly stated 2 queens. The next morning the did say that they would give us a room with 2 queens for the remainder of our trip. They also did not charge us for our first nights stay. Other than that the rest of our stay was fine.

Easy access to highway and city

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean
Cons: the elevators need cleaning and possibly an additional printer.
Location: This was a work trip so I did not have time to sight-see.
I like that it's located next to the highway and that I can walk to a restaurant.

Disappointing stay

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. After reading the ratings I just expected more.

Convenient to Activities

Pros: The hotel was convenient to all our activities for the midweek period.
Cons: The staff needs to follow through on all commitments.
Location: This period is during the Spring Meet of Keeneland which is a great place.
We are Marriott Rewards travelers and were disappointed with this hotel. The cleanliness was not up to Marriott standards. The staff promised to correct but did not deliver.
