“Lovely hotel”

From the convenient location near downtown Lexington to the grounds of this stately old home with carefully concealed modern section to the absolutely complete breakfast to the hot cider and cookies each afternoon to the clean and comfortable rooms, this is THE place to stay in Lexington if you want to be close to VMI and Washington & Lee.

“The Honeymooners”

My husband and I took our honeymoon at this hotel. We were very satisfied! The decor was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was personable and eager to help. The location was fabulous, because it was walking distance from the town, colleges, great restaurants and other attractions. I can see us taking trips here for anniversaries in the future. A gem!

“My first choice when I return to my son's college!”

“Most interesting Hampton Inn”

This Hampton Inn is tucked inside a historic mansion in Lexington, VA. Convenient to I-81. Lovely common areas. The usual hotel rooms. Fairly quiet hallways but loud air conditioner and very firm bed, which my husband loved but I did not. We stayed here last year also and would stay here again.

“A nice place to hang your hat.”

The check-in girl was very abrupt and void of any semblence of personality. She was not friendly at all. It was obvious she was annoyed. Other than that, a good experience.
