“Very nice stay!”

We were very impressed by very professional and friendly staff. The room was very clean. My wife liked the way the beds were made with an extra length of sheet folded neatly over at the top. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The rates were very reasonable for such an excellent quality motel. Thanks for a very comfortable night's stay.

“Very convienient and Fair”

I was very impressed when I arrived. I had just driven 6 hours and got to the hotel about an hour before the time I had originally told them I would be in at. My room was not ready, but within ten minutes, they had another room ready for me. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Even though I checked in hours before check in time, they still were able to work with me, and I had no problem checking in early. They didn't make me pay anymore and actually because my room was not ready, they bumped me up to a queen sized room from a full, which is what I originally booked. I highly recommend them.

“Smelly room!”

Overall, you get what you pay for. This hotel was very average & the one thing I really disliked was the smell in our room. It just seemed like it needed aired out for a while having a "mildew" like smell.

“Not Impressed”

After only being at the hotel for 1 hour, my legs and arms were covered with small bites. The hotel clerk was appologetic and explained that pets were allowed and it could possibly be fleas. Only another room was offered. Will never stay there again.

“not so great”

the hotel had people hanging in the lobby day and night. the room was supposed to be ready for us to occupy at 3pm we arrived later around 6pm and it was being cleaned as we were checking in. there was no sugar for the coffee provided for the complimentary breakfast. they need to work on their service.

“Would stay there again”

Before booking my room I had seen many negative reviews about this hotel so I was a little leary of staying thre. As it turned out it was a very positive experience. I stayed there 11 days on some training and if I had to do it again I would without reservation. The staff was good and were proud of their hotel. They also wanted the guest to have a good experience. The manager was responsive and would engage in conversation asking how the stay was going from time to time. Keeping the room clean though good overall could have definitely been somewhat better. Small things like forgetting to put out shampoo on two days, not dusting on some ocassions and forgetting towels one day were the only things I found. To counter that the room AC/heat worked excellent, the paint, beds and linnen were fresh and the furniture new. The TV was a little old but functioned well. One thing that could function better would be the internet. At times it was slow but always worked if you had a little patience. Would I saty there again? In a heartbeat and with no reservations. I felt safe and cared for. What more can you ask.

“Nice and Cheap”

everything was as we expected. the hotel was pretty empty, only saw 2 or 3 other quests. it was quite, the staff were very friendly.

Area recommendations

make sure to visit the red river gorge, and the angle falls down past berea. the falls are hard to find but worth the trek.
