Great little B&B - one for the purists!Posted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: Charm, character, room size, hospitality.
Location: See Bolton Castle where Mary Queen of Scots was Imprisoned, visit the Kings Arms hotel in the next village, explore the dales and lake nearby.
Riverside B&B is a gorgeous little establishment, right beside the River Bain, which you can hear running from your room. Roxana has included artistic and creative touches throughout the building, reflecting its Yorkshire history and surroundings. Roxana couldn't have been lovelier - her hospitality and welcoming approach is delightful. A great base to explore the Yorkshire Dales park from. I'll be back for sure.

Perfectly located for my sisters wedding at Yorebridge House. Less than half a mile away. Love four poster bed with biscuits, drinks making and even hot chocolate. Great shower. Lovely welcome and service with outstanding breakfast. Highly recommend.

Good breakfastPosted May 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Roxanna is a very good cook, and the bacon comes from the local butcher and is excellent! It was quite hard to find it - the signage is not brilliant. We were warmly welcomed. Less positively, we were on the top floor (where all the rooms are) and needed to use the hand rail, which is not easy especially at the top of the first flight of stairs going down. Parking good for two cars, but cramped when all three rooms are in use. Roxanna is a very good manager, is friendly and has a lovely attitude.
