Very close to nave base

Pros: The beds were very comfy
Cons: The breakfast was disappointing
Location: There was great food and donut shops near by.
It was great distance from the navel base that the reason we picked it.

Extremely good bang for your buck

Pros: That it was inexpensive and rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Smokers obviously smoke in the hallways, but that improved on the next day so perhaps the person doing this checked out.
Location: Great location for Great America/6 flags, Gurnee Mills. Slotts chicago dogs - awesome dogs! Wild berry pancake cafe - excellent breakfast.
This was a nice stay for a good price. They are having some roof work done but that should be done shortly. It was a nice central location for the wedding we came to attend. It was a clean, comfortable room non-smoking room. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Don't expect luxury, but nice stay for a good price. I would stay here again.

Cons: Inside condition of rooms, air conditioning, security doors.
The hotel was not air conditioned in the hall ways and the temp inside was very hot and humid. The hall ways were littered with beer cans and wet towels, I could not believe the conditions of this location. There was mold in the bathroom, and the my room was dirty. The furniture was all scratched bedspread had stains all over the outside and inside, just disgusting. The locks on the security doors were either broken or held open by wet towels from the pool. It seemed that no upgrades had been put into this Hotel for years. If I could have cancelled my reservation I would have, learned a lesson the hard way.

The pool water was green, there was a toilet plunger in the hallway. The hotel and rooms smelled of a combination of wet paint and mildew. Very worn out and dated room. I wasn't expecting anything given it was 79 dollars a night, but it didn't even meet my lowered expectations. Bottom line, go some where else if possible.

The Hotel was dirty and smelled old. The shower had visible mold on it. The hotel staff was rude. I would never stay there again.

Missing screens on windows, missing tiles in the elevator. Doors were not locked at night. There were only 5 chairs in the pool area. The grounds around the hotel were filthy. Breakfast was gone before 8, hardly anything left

Pros: nothing
Cons: Caring about the work that is being done in the hotel. I believe the work was supposed to be an improvement but is exactly the opposite.
Location: Close to Six Flags
Checked in the room they sent us to was being remodeled no sheets on beds all the tools were laying on the un-made beds. Checked into the second room the door and door sill had paint on it the room smelled like it had been painted that is fine at least you know the walls are clean. The carpet had paint dots on it, the outlet covers, light switch covers, the metal around the windows, the plug in for the air conditioner, and tv had paint on them. The bathroom ceiling had paint from the wall on it (different color). I have painted my own rooms at home those are the kind of things you clean up because you care how it looks. Called for two extra pillows for our family had to go get them understandable only one person working but they only had one pillow left to give us. All down the hall way there were paint chips on the floor alot of room doors had paint smeared on them. Air conditioner was froze over in the room probably from the moisture that releases while painting. Let Sonja from the front desk know about the situation she said she already had heard all about it she asked me to do her a favor and call her manager Gabby to let her know about the things we found. I did call her on Monday morning she thanked me for taking my time to call her with my comments bye click. I don't think she cared. They will end up spending at least $10,000 to clean up after the mess the painting contractor is leaving they were still living there painting. Worst hotel have ever stayed i

The hallways smell like cat urine

Plus, there was no remote for the tv. I asked the front desk for a remote and I had to go down to get it. It didn't work. I went for a second one. It didn't work. I gave up. There were no mattress pads and the bottom sheets were just laid across the mattresses, they weren't tucked in. It would have been okay for a cheap hotel but I expected more for what we paid.
