Nice hotel

Pros:helpful staff and nice facility though I really didn't feel like I was staying in an old castle. Breakfast was fantastic. Cons:the city in general wasn't my favorite. Wanted to use the hot tub but it's part of the spa and there is an extra fee for the facility of 15 euros.

We à 2 dans les derniers jours de Novembre. Chambre 217, oú le lit bien que confortable était un peu mou pour nos goûts. Très calme la première nuit, rien a dire! Par contre deuxième nuit, un de nos voisins a crié pendant 5mn (terreurs nocturnes ?) mais c'est plutôt le bruit d'une climatisation pourtant coupée que nous avons entendu et se fut très désagréable. La brasserie est belle mais les plats que nous y avons mangé étaient froids. L'entrée était spéciale... Le fromage et le dessert étaient qu'en a eux très bien! Pour terminer, je dirai que l'hôtel est beau et trés bien situé, que le centre ville est agréable et que les gens sont charmants. Il est parfait pour un we de 2 nuits comme nous l'avons fais.

Very poor staff, totally ruined birthday

Reception staff are poorly trained. They have a very confusing lift system that the receptionist did not bother to point out. After twice going to ask her, I was fuming, as not once she pointed out that you apparently had to walk through the gym to use the hotels bottom exit. Everyone was looking at why we were there with normal clothes. Nobody, other guest included seemed to know whether the lift works with the room card or without, as it could do either. I asked for an extra bed sheet, and the receptionist phoned the room and said he could not get hold of anyone in housekeeping, so we'll have to go without. I told him it is impossible not to have access to housekeeping in such a fancy hotel. Eventually they brought something, and it turned out to be a single duvet cover!!!!! And then they tried to charge us for the stay again, even though it was prepaid. I read all nice things about Liege, but I was so annoyed at this hotel, they totally ruined my husbands birthday that day. All these things are very basic things. It is the receptionist job to point specific things to the hotel, and their workings, out.

Excellent Séjour

Journée de formation dans cet hôtel et 2 soirées de plaisir, sorties et visite.Très bien situé à Liège pour le transport, les attraits touristiques, resto etc.

très bel hôtel

très bien situé. personnels très avenants. cet hôtel est de plus plein de charme avec sa bâtisse historique. petit plus un livre de découverte de son histoire se trouve dans la chambre. nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

excellent hotel

I stayed one night for business excellent hotel all perfect just if I can say that I would have liked the gym open from 6am but just because I was starting very early next day!

Nice Hotel

This is a nice hotel. Room was bit small for a family of 3 adults with one large bed and rollout cot but certainly manageable. The bathroom was spacious and quite nice. The sauna and movie system were not working during our stay but we felt the hotel staff were very courteous and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our stay and if visiting this area again would not hesitate to rebook.
