Good hotel, opposite the main railway station

Pros: It's convenience, cleanliness and the helpful reception staff.
Cons: The reception area is positioned so that you access the lifts before you reach reception.They should introduce a room key operated lift system.
The hotel is diagonally across the road from the railway station main entrance, it couldn't be easier to find. There are a number of bars/cafes right next to the station which are fine and convenient. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from the city centre, or catch the bus from outside the main station entrance. Hotel has an environmental scheme, if you do not want your room servicing on a particular day, leave the tag on the door, and they will post you a 5 euro voucher which can be used, on the day, in the hotel restaurant/bar, or can be donated to a Belgian environmental charity.

Located across from main train station and bus connections. Bus to city center 15 minutes. Lots of restaurants by hotel. Great fruit and small grocery around the corner. Would stay again.

Convinnent hotel close to the main station

This hotel is really close to the main station, although the hotel entrance is a bit small, you won't have any trouble finding the location. We were a little dissapointed when we fould there was no fridge in our room to put our Belgian beers, etc. And also, its free WiFi was far too slow and weak. Except for these, we were satisfied with our stay.

Great location! The room was quiet. It's across from the train station. We didn't have to travel far to catch our train the next day.

Great Location across from the station. Staff friendly at check in and check out. Room comfortable without being flashy. Breakfast is fairly simple but not acceptable though slightly expensive for what it is. Its a 20 minute walk to the main centre of Liege but there are reasonable options around to eat drink if this is too far. Recommend the Duc D'Anjou round the corner for good traditional food.

A Fabulous Railway Hotel at Liege

Railway hotels as a class used to be dated and old. Hotel Husa de la Couronne is a very nice reason to change that generalization. Modern and spacious, it was very comfortable. Happy to recommend it highly to anyone.

Clean comfortable Hotel

Pros: Clean, convenient
Cons: Easy to get to the stairways from the frontdoor
Location: Easy walk to downtown in 30 minutes.
Very convenient to the train station, and hotel was very clean. Room was large. Outside the hotel had a little to be desired as you are close to a major train station

Hotel is a work in progress

This hotel is located immediately opposite the train station. While the station itself is an architectural masterpiece, the hotel is not. None of the rooms had refrigerators, although there is a space for one. We were told that the refrigerators would be available in four months. Our first surprise. The second was that while there were electric controls for air conditioning, there was no air conditioning service at all. Again, it will be available several months from our visit. The reception staff was sullen and sometimes surly and uncooperative. The neighborhood seems to be in transition, with many storefronts boarded up, and road work outside interrupts the water in most of the rooms. While there was a sign in the elevator apologizing for any disruption in water availability, or that the color of the water — when available — was sometimes muddy. The hallways were never completely cleaned and during our four day stay, the same two dirty beer mugs were ever present in the same corner adjacent to the elevator. In all, Until all construction, inside the hotel and out, is completed, we would recommend finding another hotel in Liege.
