Great B&B close to Lake ComoPosted Jul 28, 2014
We stayed as a family of 3 and had the rear room upstairs looking at the mountains, great view and very little noise from the Station. Our host was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was continental as expected and plenty for the day ahead. Lierna is small and has a supermarket, bakers, restaurants and a bar. A must in the summer is the public beach and the water is clean and not cold. I would return if in the area again

Loved itPosted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a great stay. Daniel was super nice, waited for us at the train station, answered all of our questions, gave us great recommendations about where to go and what to do. We arrieved late on a Saturday night, and the local restaurant was closed for a wedding but Daniel worked it out with the owner to let us come and have dinner. it was delicious and we even got a "Casa Nini discount" from the restaurant owner. Lake Como was beautiful. We hiked up the mountain behind the hotel to the next town over, saw the castel, and then rode the train back. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others looking for a quieter Italian vacation.

Wonderful hospitality and great settingPosted May 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Casa Nini. Daniele was a superb host and was very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. We asked about hiking trails and he gave us detailed directions for a hike from the B&B in Lierna to the neighboring town of Varenna. It was a more strenuous hike than he had made it out to be, but it was full of fantastic views. The B&B Casa Nini is very conveniently located right next to the train station.

Wished we could have stayed longerPosted Oct 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The host was great, he explained everything in detail to us and even walked us to a restaurant for dinner. The rooms were clean and had plenty of room for the 2 of us. I will have to say (although this is not any fault of the owner) that the entrance way to the B&B is extremely narrow. I wasn't paying much attention and scraped the bottom of my front bumper on the side wall. On the way out I made sure to concentrate and was able to make it out without any further damage. Beware!

A Charming RetreatPosted Oct 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a wonderful place to stay. The property was well taken care of. Everything was clean and tidy. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It is easily accessed via train or the Lake ferry. Even though it is near the train station we were not bothered by any noise.I highly recommend this B&B.

Loved it!Posted Oct 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We only stayed one night, but we LOVED this place. It was a little hard to find and not easy to access due to a narrow driveway into the B&B. However, Daniel, the owner, was MORE THAN ACCOMODATING in helping us get our bags out of our car and up to the B&B. The room was awesome and so comfortable. Wish we could have stayed another night! He also gave us a recommendation for a wonderful restaurant in the city with views of the lake. Very romantic and a great dinner!

Well located for exploring the lake with easy access to train and bus as well as the ferries along the road at Verbania. The house has been the owner's residence for many years and is very much a family home.

We had a lovely time at Casa NIni. The owner Daniel made us feel very welcome and gave us good tips. The train station is right next to the house, but the trains don't run in the night time. Overall a great stay!
