Excellent locationPosted Sep 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The main advantage of the Citadines in Lille is its proximity to the train stations (both Eurostar and domestic) and to the Carrefours supermarket and the Euralille mall. The apparthotel setting is ideal for someone who wants to do some cooking. The hotel is spotless, although daily "light" cleaning comes at a small cost.

Awesome AparthotelPosted Sep 18, 2013
Stayed here in Aug 2013. Love the 'aparthotel' idea - so nice to have a small kitchen in which to have a few meals if choose to do so. Within walking distance of the train stations with luggage. Very clean and spacious hotel. No coffee pot in room but have coffee available in the breakfast room.

Location: Close to eurostar and metro.
Lovely room, everything you need and close to train stations. Easy access to eurostar and supermarket. Easy walk to centre of town. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Nice place to stay in Lille.Posted Jul 1, 2013
Lovely hotel with an easy walk to the city center, a bit of a trek though if you are coming on foot from the railway station due to the cobblestone streets that make it difficult to pull your luggage. Hotel is clean and very quiet due to its solid old brick construction. Nice covered atrium area with dining and relaxing areas in the center of the hotel.

Great location near train stations and city centrePosted May 20, 2013
Pros: Comfy, large bed
Cons: Lack of character - it's clean and modern, not elegant and beautiful.
Excellent city centre location, perfect for exploring the city. We arrived by Eurostar and it's a 5 minute walk from the terminal so it was great to just dump our bags and head straight out.

"Great Short Break"Posted Apr 12, 2013
Pros: You can prepare your own food in your apartment.
Cons: The coffe/breakfast area, very small.
Location: Brillant, walking distance to everything and also close to local metro, if you wish to use it.
The hotel was clean and modern, the staff very helpful and pleasent. We arrived on the Sunday and there were no shops open, I asked the receptionist where could I go and buy some milk. She disappeared and come back with a carton of milk, free of charge. Not many places would do that. Also my partner is in a wheel chair due to ill health and again the receptionist was brilliant, she gave us a choice of rooms, we could look at them both before choosing. In the end we chose the one that was convenient for us. Also another member of staff helped out, this time it was housing keeping, the room that we were staying in had two single beds, she with a colleague made it up to a double. They could not have been more helpful and willing to help or give advice. Would definately go back. It is also very close to the train station for the Eurostar being just round the corner. Plus you are close to a shopping centre and the local Carrefor. I was so pleased that it went well, as I was treating my partner, as it was a birthday present. It was just brillant experince over all. Would go back again.

DO NOT stay midweek during renovations!Posted Feb 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is under renovation..... This causes an absolute nightmare for the midweek traveler. Even rooms "far away" from the renovations are swamped with noise. I had to move several times because even the "replacement" rooms I was offered were not yet completely finished. Once the construction is complete I would recommend this place, or perhaps if you're only staying on Friday and Saturday nights. (No work is done during the day on Saturday or Sunday.) DO NOT otherwise stay here at the moment.
