Hotel was in the middle historical district. We could walk everywhere...safe and pleasant. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

I've stayed in many 2-3 star (by government rating, not Expedia or others) hotels in France. Hotel de La Treille is very much in line with my previous experiences. Rooms are small & a bit spartan by US standards but the norm for French hotels & very much in keeping with the price. Had a great view of the nearby cathedral & over the rooftops of the neighborhood. Excellent location in the heart of Vieux Lille. Quick walk to restaurants, shops, bars, cafes etc and only about 10 minutes to train station and metro. People were very nice. I'd definitely stay there again if I return to Lille.

“Amsterdam Hotel a-ok”

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel the first time we had a much larger room than the second stay. It was a tight squeeze, but a nice stylish room.
