Perfect place to rest
This hotel is excellent. It lived up to its reputation. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our only regret was not having a mini fridge in our room. It’s not real close to a metro line if you are lugging suitcases but it wasn’t too bad. The restaurants aren’t real close for walking either. But this hotel has spacious rooms and very nice staff.

The last person’s soap was in the tray in the showe. We were told there was no VIP upgrade room available, but the hotel was virtually empty - only a few cars in the car park and only one other person came down for breakfast between 8:30 - 9:30

Poor stay
The shower mixers were dreadful hot cold hot cold hot cold and impossible to set. Clearly, the Hotel was almost shut over the weekend and inadequate breakfasts were left in bags, which were not suitable for the purpose of the trip.

Good for stadium event but expensive for quality.
Room Ok but shower room very basic with only a soap dispenser. Self service buffet breakfast was quite disorganised and coffee out of a machine was very poor. Bar ran out of beer and very slow service after the Elton John concert which was in stadium next door and they should have anticipated a good trade. Parking was not free although slightly reduced from the 20 euro per day fee advertised at entance.Hotel expensive considering the amenities and service but ideal for the stadium as only a few minutes walk away.

The room had not and was not vacuum cleaned during our stay and the booking form did not state whether breakfast was or was not included. The rate quoted by hotels.com was an average rate rather than day by day specific. service was generally very slow

A little remote. Wasn't the safest looking of areas.. Might be different when there is a major event at the stadium. Breakfast was fine, but underground parking is fairly expensive given that this was not a 'cheap' hotel (12€)

Nice newer hotel
The hotel is pretty new. The style is typical Radisson - contemporary with a stylish modern twist. Breakfast was ok. We had a nice stay for one night on our way to the airport.

Small but clean and comfortable rooms. Great for couples with infants/toddlers. Good service in having a clean pack-and-play baby bed ready for us. Only downside was that there are no refrigerators in the rooms.

Booked a twin room through hotels.com and arrived quite late 22.00hr, check in was surprisingly quick and easy and we made are way to floor 7. On openening the door we looked and saw a double bed ok this has happened a few times so checked,it was two singles together made as a double so carried in getting ready with the assumption when we were out eating they could change the bedding! Long story short 3 attempts to get this simple problem rectified!!! Not sure if this hotel has new management or something but something didn’t seem right as there were staff in black shirts and tracks bottoms and trainers on serving breakfast in the morning!! Having stayed here the once I decided to book it again the next night when we couldn’t make it home, so again checked in slightly later this time and same again good swift check in and given floor 4 this time! Must point out it was the same lady that checked me in for the second night as it was the first!!! Low and behold it was a double bed again!!! And this time it was a double!! Having no time to muck about we quickly showered and went out for food but when I confronted the member of staff who checked me in she got all arrogant and blamed hotels.com for the problem because the info that I type in when booking a room doesn’t get passed on to the hotel!!! Never mind the fact it took 3 attempts to rectify this problem the night before! And she recognised me the second night!! So really not impressed with this hotel and will not return!

A decent choice if you are going to Lille football
So the Park Inn in Villeneuve D'ascq is a convenient choice for the football stadium. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby, but otherwise this is a suburban venue - best for using as a base.Service is patchy as the staff are clearly there to ensure an efficient stay, but not much more. I had an issue with my room not being cleaned (I had the do not disturb sign on until 11 am, but no one came after that). I heard 2 local customers saying that they liked their rooms, but were not impressed by the breakfast service - which again seemed fair as there were no glasses periodically, and certainly no tidying up.Overall this is a budget hotel experience, but the beds were comfy and the rooms in good order.

Nice hotel in good location but poor breakfast
This hotel is perfectly located for access to the Lille FC stadium. It is also close to the metro. The hotel is clean and the staff are pleasant. What lets it down is the poor breakfast. Very limited selection. 'Hot' food was tepid and the coffee was not great. Disappointing for a hotel of this quality.

Lovely hotel, nice stay but food spoilt it!
They need to get a better chef. The Hollandaise sauce on the asparagus had curdled. A good chef would have redone the sauce. The Tiramisu was NO TIRAMISU. Someone please tell him that Tiramisu is not butter fried biscuit crumble with crème anglais on top with a biscuit crumb sprinke! Send him a recipe! If you're going to serve a Tiramisu then make sure it is a real Tiramisu! Other than that, the staff were excellent!

Quiet, pleasant but not perfect.
Hotel was pleasant, nice and quiet when we were staying, and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't great - the soft boiled eggs were barely cooked and the scrambled eggs were green. The lift down to the parking was also broken on the day we left and we had to walk a stupid route to get to the underground car park.

Power outage
I can not tell you about this hotel as on arrival we found out they had no power to the hotel. They had arranged another hotel further away and by the time we got there had a shower a drink at the bar the restaurant had closed and there was nowhere open for food.

Power cut
On arrival there was no power to the building. As we went to check in we were told that we could not stay here so the receptionist said that we can go to the novotel by the airport. We had not eaten and wanted to have a walk out to a nearby restaurant, which now we were unable to do. So we went back to our car, we were only in the car park for 10 mins and were charged €1-40! However the card machine would not take any of our bank cards (visa, MasterCard, maestro). We when arrived at our new hotel which was by the airport we had no choice but to eat in the overpriced hotel restaurant as there were no other hotels in the area. Park inn offered no compensation for our inconvenience. This review is by no means a true review on the hotel as we never got past the reception. We originally decided to stay at this hotel for its location.

Dear Steve First of all, we want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during this incident. Unfortunately, what happened was totally out of our control. However, we tried to manage it as smoothly as possible for our guests . We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the restaurant at the other property. As per our rules, we relocated you in a 4 star hotel. Also regarding the car park, this is a mistake from us as we would provide you with a ticket to leave the car park. Once again, we are really sorry for this unpleasant experience

Great breakfast, very clean and excellent staff.
We speak very little French but the hotel staff spoke very good English and were very king and polite. The entire facility was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very complete. The location is out on the roadway but there was no room noise. No better place to stay if you are going to a game but we were going to the Christmas market so it was a 15-20 min drive into Lille. We stayed on our way from Belgium/France, back to England and it was great for that.

Hotel difficult to find would need a sat nav. and a car. Hotel almost brand new and very nice but again diner and breakfast very expensive we booked a double room and as usual what do you get only one chair to sit on, another small grumble was the car park that was under hotel, every time you needed to get from there to your room you had to call the reception on the intercom, better way would be to use your room key car to call lift.

Good Hotel
Overall the hotel was great. The only hard part was figuring out how to actually get there as it's right by the stadium. That said we arrived at night and many of the lights were off. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area.
