“OK for the price”
I stayed for a week because of nearby work. I felt safe even though there were no other open establishments nearby. I had the requested fridge and microwave, and the Wifi was fine, but the "cleaning" staff left something to be desired. My soap was only replenished upon request, and the room only lightly cleaned each day. The breakfast items were linited, but when I requested decaf, they had it available daily for me. Overall, it is an OK place to stay. No frills, few basics (take your own conditioner), but safe for a woman travelling alone.
“Okay for the Price”
Hotel was dated. Liked having a couch to sit on while watching TV. Maid had left a towel hanging on the back of bathroom door but otherwise the room was clean. Breakfast bar was lacking on choices.
“Good bargain for Low Cost”
The management and staff were helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. This is a very basic motel with no frills, but for its low price it's a bargain. It's right off I-75 and provides easy access to the city. The neighborhood is dreary, but there's a waffle shop nearby and other restaurants a short drive away. I'll use it again if I come back to Lima.
“Needs clean blankets”
The room was clean. It was a non-smoking room yet a blanket had a cigaret hole it it and looked like it had toothpaste or worse stain on the blanket. Fortunately the sheets looked clean
“A bad experience in a decent neighborhood”
I should have worried when you could pay through a glass partition. Our room was smelly and dirty- still dirty towels in bathroom and vomit residue on the wall by the garbage. We tried to raise a concern but the front desk person didn't understand and assured us our room would be cleaned the next day-but we were there only one day- and it was only 5 pm. It was next door to an Econlodge which was very nice and had a good breakfast. Continental breakfast was promised but the juice machine squirt juice out and was broken, and there was no food. The halls were dark and grimy. We met other parents who had the same impression-there to try a college visit-but found the dorms to be so much better than this hotel. I even complained to corporate and was promised a call back=but nothing.
“needs a little work”
The staff was great,they were very friendly and did there best to make it a enjoyable stay.The only problem was with the bathroom you had to wait for the preasure to build up to flush the toilet. And I must say for this to be a smaller hotel I was shocked and impressed that they had a bar in the hotel,once they get the kitchen area running this will be a nice little get away spot.

Upon arrival, the staff was very polite and waited on us quickly. We got a really nice size room. The other various staff that we ran into, was very polite, courteous and helpful if we needed any help or information on where to locate things at the Holiday Inn. The cleanliness of our room needed to be tweeked, for example, the wash cloth they had in the straw tray on the sink had dried blood on it and the the maid must have run short on time to dust down the refrigerator and furniture. Other than that, the bed was really soft, clean linen and the room was clean other than mentioned above. The pool area was really nice and felt very relaxing getting into the hot tub after a long trip. The only suggestion I would suggest in regards to the pool area is that they have some kind of mats (for safety reasons) between the hot tub and the pool as it was quiet slippery as people got in and out of the hot tub & pool.
