Small, intimate boutique hotel with 7 floors and good vibe. Staff was amazing and greeted us by name every time we left or entered. They were also very friendly and responsive when we needed anything from them. They told us they would only service the room every three days but without asking they ended up cleaning the room every day. During cleanings they would fold any items we had left on chairs or in common areas. Great, upscale, quiet neighborhood, with central location. Surrounding sites and neighborhoods easily reached in 15-20 minute Uber rides. Grocery store on next block, many restaurants within walking distance in the area like Osaka, Astrid Y Gaston, Hanzo, Primos, etc. The only Lima bar In the worlds top 50, Carnaval, is also very near by. The hotel has a Great bar itself, with inventive drinks and simple yet well presented dishes, we only ordered snacks but they were great. 609 was described on Expedia as king superior room and it was large and spacious. Cozy beds, separate work and sitting areas, safe, large tv, fast/free WIFI, plugs for both western and European hookup, and large bathroom(bathroom did NOT have a door, something to keep in mind if your not comfortable with the person you’re traveling with). Views were less than inspiring but do look down onto the tree lined street. Lobby is pretty and would be a place that we would hang out if we weren’t so busy exploring the city and enjoying cocktails at the bar when we were at the hotel. High recommend, great
