We chose this hotel because we thought it would be convenient to the airport having a very early flight the next morning. It was not at all convenient. It is much too far to walk and there is nothing at all nearby. The hotel itself and rooms are nice but unless you have a car, I would not recommend.

Close to the airport but hard to get to.
Our flight was late (nearly midnight). Airport transportation was $60 US, even though the place is close to the airport. The driver did not know the hotel and had a hard time finding it. We had to wake the clerk when we got there. However, the room was available and clean. The place is low-budget and there was no hot water in the shower until the clerk turned on the water heater the next morning. However, the room was clean and the clerk arranged for transportation back to the airport for our flight to Cusco the next morning for about $7.00 (20 soles). The hotel is in the warehouse district, a tough part of town. But it is clean, the clerk was helpful and over all it was a good value. Some ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful if you want to stay at Hostal Hostello. Get some Peruvian currency (Sol) from an ATM or exchange at the airport before you check in. Everything is much more expensive if paid in dollars.

excellent for a connecting flight.
We stayed overnight as we had an early connecting flight. Hotel manager + Luis? Was extremely helpful. Getting to hotel was a nightmare with all the taxi touts around. This booking should include an airport pickup against a fee of course.

it was a very nice place in an industrial part of Lima. Although clean there were no amenities within 10 blocks would not recommend it or returns

scary neighborhood
We were disappointed at the hotel despite the very low price. Fortunately, the front desk offered to call in for our dinner so we won't have to walkaround in the less than desirable neighborhood. WIFI available in public area. Still a good buy for the price and OK if not there alone.

Huele mal, la Limpieza deja mucho que desear, pedí una habitación tranquila y no pude dormir toda la noche por el ruido. El chico de la recepción muy amable, la cercanía al aeropuerto es bueno.

kan lige så godt bo i centrum
Meget simpelt hostal. Ingen mad. Stadig under bygning.ikke så tæt på lufthavnen endda. Man slipper ikke for taxi.
