“Convenience and quality rate high marks”

We were arriving in Lima at 10:30pm and departing the next morning for a flight to Cusco. Convenience was the highest priority. We were pleasantly surprised at how new and comfortable the Ramada was. I highly recommend it.

“Easy access from Airport”

This is a good hotel for the traveler who is flying into Lima, Peru for an overnight on his way to Cusco. The hotel is across the street from the airport for easy access to and from the airport. You can just roll your bags out of the airport right into the hotel.

“Expensive; Convenient to airport otherwise nothing special”

You walk out of the terminal and fifty feet away is the entrance to the hotel. Great for doing a quick overnight. The rooms are quite small and are spartan enough to remind me of a Motel 6 back home; clean but very basic. The breakfast buffet was nice. Even though they have two double beds, they only allow two people in a room. They charged an extra twenty dollars for our nineteen year old and tried to charge us for our twelve year old even though we'd been told on the phone he was free. We wouldn't have been able to get our family into one room if we hadn't been with friends who had their own room. Apparently three is the absolute max. In any event, I would not have wanted to leave the airport late at night to find a hotel for a few hours, so while expensive, it worked out O.K.

“Meets the need--secure your valuables”

I made use of this airport based hotel in order to meet my wife who arrived at 11:00 pm for us to take a 5:30 a.m. departure to Cusco, so it was strictly for convenience. You pay for that convenience with downtown prices because so many travelors heading to Machu Picchu do the same thing. Also keep in mind that Peru has a dual price structure for foreigners and the hotel is not cheap for what you get. That said, it served and they have a nice restaurant and bar to pass the time in. Our big problem was that a service worker or bell hop burst into our room unannounced and without knocking on the excuse of checking the mini bar and caught me all but naked. Not much of an apology was given by the front desk and all I can say is that I was glad my wife was not alone there.

“nice, but over priced as compared to other hotels in Lima”

Convenience of being so close to the airport is this hotel's greatest asset. Compared to others in Lima, it is over priced, but other hotels require a 20 minute taxi drive.

“Convenient”

The only hotel at Lima airport and they charge accordingly. Convenient when you have an early morning flight. Very relaxing after many days of roughing it in the Andes. Good meal. No wine ? Snobby at the desk but other personnel was very nice.

“Location, Location, Location”

the hotel was fine - clean, good service, great breakfast - but its location was perfect; right across from the airport on the arrivals level. As we landed well after midnight and we were on a connecting flight the next morning this was the best choice for us. The cost was reasonable (in Canadian terms at least) given the location.

“Nice and convienent hotel, but overpriced”

I stayed here twice on the way into Peru, and out of Peru. It is a clean hotel, and a little nicer than the average, but nothing too spectacular. The hotel staff do their job, but nothing above and beyond the ordinary like in other hotels in Peru. The hotel is very convenient being right next to the airport with a connecting skywalk so you never even have to set foot outside the airport really. Its also a safe place to leave your bags if you only have one night in Lima and want to take a taxi into town to explore. Having said that you can't help but feel they are completely taking advantage of the fact that any other hotel in Miraflores or Central Lima is up to an hour taxi ride and you really have no choice but to stay here or sleep in the airport with the odd flight times that planes arrive into Lima. I love the convenience of this hotel, and location is superb for weary travelers, but the high price overshadows all the benefits and left me with a big hole in my wallet which I do not feel good about.

“only airport hotel.”

The hotel is the only one in the airport. The area surrounding the airport is not safe and the city if at least one hour by taxi. So if you want to be near the airport, this is the only safe option. The hotel is very comfortable and only 2 minutes walk from terminal. However, it is not cheap.
