“The worst hostel in Miraflores, Lima”

The Casa Nostra Hostel was HORRIBLE. The WORST was the SERVICE, the accommodations were adequate but OVER PRICED and the LOCATION WAS FAR from Miraflores, Lima where everything is. To begin with we missed our flight and immediately emailed them. The Casa Nostra Hostel sent a nice reply, stating not to worry they canceled our reservation. When we arrived, I asked for a cup of coffee and was told we were not allowed to since we did not spend the night. I tried to pay my bill that night but they said no. The next morning, we had arranged a ride for the airport at 7am. I came down at 6:30am and was surprised when I had a bill for 2 nights. I asked for the owner and he had been there the previous night but had said nothing. I showed him the email from Percy Manrique in reservations and he said it did not matter, he had no authority. I said we could not have breakfast because we did not stay the night and I would like a reduction but he refused. He said it did not matter, I had made the reservation, he would not honor the email AND he charged 10% for using a credit card!!! I found him dishonest, unhelpful and would be very careful of my bill if you stay there. I would recommend the Pirwa Bed & Breakfast in Miraflores, Lima
