Good location, not anything else

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: LOCATION
Cons: EVERYTHING-Hotel staff, organization
Location: Larcomar- a mall near the beach.
The hotel is in a great location, many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel staff was very disappointing, did not like when we asked questions and very disorganized. The girl at the front desk seemed to have an attitude when I asked for help. They didn't know what days we had payed and even charged me for a day stay I had already payed for. The 1st room was super small and faced the parking gargage :-( the 2nd room was decent in size.

Great Location and Price

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Location was awesome. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Juice could be set out for guests to pour during breakfast. Or have staff serve juice more than once.
Location: Kennedy Park, movie theatre, grocery store, and shopping mall are all quite close. Huaca Pucllana is also close by.
My girlfriend and I stayed in Lima for 10 days. We booked 2 five-night stays in case we disliked the hotel and wanted to cancel. Ended up enjoying the location and hotel and didn't need to cancel. Hotel is nearby to Kennedy Park and a 10-15 minute walk to the coast and Larcomar Mall. Plenty of restaurants surrounding the nearby parks. There are also grocery stores nearby if you wish to buy some food items. The included breakfast doesn't change too drastically everyday, however, it is always good. Some of the rooms can be a bit noisy as Peruvian drivers honk their horns constantly. If you can get/request a room on the interior of the building I would advise you to do so.

Very good location!

Pros: The location.
Cons: The carpet.
Location: This hotel has a very good location. If you are hungry-a variety of restaurants very close-just walking. The same for shopping and dancing.
The staff very friendly. The breakfast-homy. It is safe.

Pros: On the center for all shopping, food and fun activities
Cons: Location of dineware underneath to food, which allows other people to put head on top of food.
Not a five star but very comfortable and close to many activities.

Las Palmas ROCK!!!!

Posted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is right in the heart of the Miraflores District and a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and the breakfast buffet is basic but good enough to start your day. I am going to stay here again for sure.

Nice/Standard hotel at the heart of Miraflores

Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location....
Cons: Throw out the carpets and put tiles, AC AND HEATERS are a nice detail even in Lima. Personnel could look more lively, they behaved like zombies.
Location: As I mentioned before there lots of things to do in the area, there are pre-hispanics ruins nearby (less than a mile in a walkable area) a must....
The hotel is not outstanding in any way, however the place is very well located, very walkable area, near Avenue Pardo and Parque Kennedy, the area is full of very nice restaurants, nightclubs, pizzerias, sports bars, bookshops, gyms, etc. Also you are very near the second oval in Av. Pardo and all public transport is available nearby, in the same area of Haiti bar a landmark in the area with more of 50 years in that spot, there is a cinema center just on the side of Haiti. Banks, exchange places and arbolitos (stand up local currency traders) are available also. The Hotel itself is below normal standards for an hotel of this category but it will do.I had no AC/Heater AT MY ROOM. The reception was dark and sad, it looked displaced and impersonal, really ugly. For this rates you may want to check out the Hostels in the area like the Flying Dogs for example.

Close enough

Las palmas was located in miraflores. Walking distance from different key areas. 0.2 miles from a street filled with nice restaurants and 0,8 miles from the beach, where you can find a lot of interesting places. Hotel was nice, good breakfast. Clean and quiet.

It’s a reasonable hotel very close to the center o

I loved Miraflores. It’s a beautiful place to stay in Lima. The hotel is very basic. While we were there, very noisy constructions across the road. The staff was nice to give us room away from the noise, And with wi fi in it. (Not all the rooms have it). Breakfast was disappointing (except the fresh juice), to pay for a second coffee was for me a bad joke or a good laugh.

Location makes it a winner

Posted Jun 28, 2013
Pros: Location!
Cons: Small room, old TV, no air-conditioning
Location: Around the corner from Kennedy Park with all its restaurants, bars, shops and interesting people.
The room was small with no air-conditioning or heating. Staff were good and the location very good - just around the corner from Kennedy Park and lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
