“Nice boutique hotel”

We had a short stay in Lima/Miraflores and arrived late due to a flight delay from Cuzco. We bargained the price for a taxi from the airport for 40 solas - it's about a 40 minute drive). Don't go with the bus/limo/cab kiosk in the airport...they charge more. We'd had to cancel one night and the hotel were very obliging...they did not charge any penalty. The Reception was very friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel is well kept, clean and comfortable. The location is in a quieter, residential area and while the square and Mall are walking distance (20 mins), we took a cab (5 solas) to the central square and managed to get a night tour of Lima...so we at least got to see the city! There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the central square in Miraflores...a safe and lovely district of Lima. We certainly recommend this hotel.

“My Favorite Hotel in Lima”

I have stayed at the Runcu many times. The service is consistently outstanding by all staff. The accomodations excellent. The breakfast is memorable, The food in the terrace dining room tops. Location cannot be beat. You are treated as someone very special.

“Lovely small Hotel close to the Malecon in Miraflores.”

We loved our 7 day stay in Hotel Runcu recently. The Hotel staff were most helpful in organising taxis, giving guidance with directions etc. We liked their attention to detail eg the way the fresh towels were arranged each day, the bottles of water that were supplied each day in your room, the chocolates left in your room at night. These things show a level of commitment to their Hotel that is also reflected in the presentation of the breakfasts each day. They do dinners at night also - food is delicious. Coffee and tea is available all day in the Lobby for you to help yourself to and there are 3 computers for guest to use at any time. The Hotel is only a few minutes away from the beautiful Malecon and you can walk to Larcomar in about 20 minutes - a lovely shopping centre with a number of very good restaurants some of which look out over the high cliffs of Lima to the Pacific Ocean. Very pretty at night. Central Lima is about a 20 minute taxi ride away and we didn't pay more than 15 soles for this. I can definitely recommend this Hotel and we would stay there again if we were ever back in Lima.

This hotel was lovely and the staff were very attentive. It was pretty far from the center of town but the hotel staff helped us hail a cab.

“Great hotel in a great city”

Runcu was the second-best thing about my visit to Lima (the first being the food). The ONLY shortcoming is that it's not super centrally located - don't get me wrong, it's not far from anything, and if you hop in a cab you won't notice the difference, but if you're the kind of person that likes to walk to a local bar, this isn't exactly the best place to do that. That said, I would definitely go back and stay here.

“Runcu a short walk to the Beach”

Overall I was very happy with the service provided at Runcu. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm but they had no problem checking us into our room when we arrived at 12 noon. Every request I made was met with a smile. We we're given some great Ideas of what to do throughout the city for our trip from Gonsalvo during breakfast. Runcu is located in a very safe & convenient location. Not a very far walk to many places of interest or a very cheap taxi ride away. The only negative was that it could be a little noisy at night. However I was so tired from our long days that I mostly slept right through it anyhow. On my next trip to Lima I will definitely stay at Runcu again.

Excellent hotel, great service. They have a contract with a taxi service to take you anywhere you want to go , and will pick you up when and where you wish to return to the hotel. Small fee( a fraction of a full day's rate ) will let you keep your room until time to go to the airport in stead of charging for and extra day. Our flight left at 00:45 in the morning. Extremely helpful staff. The restaurant has excellent food and reasonably priced. Only a two block walk to the beach.

“Loved the Runcu Hotel!”

We enjoyed the stay at Runcu Hotel very much. It was in the side of Miraflores area, but we could walked from there to visit this part of the town. Lima town center was easily reached by taxi which is very cheap here. The staff was very helpful and even packed us a tasty breakfast to go, because our flight was early in the morning.

Amazing Hotel! Good location, closer form almost everything you need in Miraflores. Extraordinary staff, wonderful breakfast. The room was very clean and quiet, bed and pillows are very confortable. The wifi connection was fast. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.
