Comfortable hotel in Lima

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Katherine at the front desk was so helpful. Provided suggestions that made our short stay more satisfying. Only downside was ongoing construction.

Good for the price

It is a good hotel for the price. A little loud at night since it is right on a busy street. You also need to take a cab to get to any thing worth seeing, but, if you are on a budget, I recommend Vila Santa. Excellent service and very clean.

Pros: When we asked about the high cost of the laundry, we were given a 20% discount.
Location: It's really not in the center of Miraflores; it's pretty much in Sucre.
The room was stinky. The room was loud. There was no communal comfortable place to lounge. They charged us $100 to do our laundry which was more than the room cost. Our laundry consisted of 4 pairs of trekking pants, about 5 t-shirts, and 7 pair of underwear.

Excellent hotel, not so excellent location

First of all, the address listed on the website and in confirmation emails is NOT CORRECT. We drove around in a foreign country at 11:00 at night for almost an hour trying to find the address that did not exist! We were unable to communicate with the taxi driver and it was almost a dangerous situation for two females! Once we finally found the hotel (after a lot of stress and discomfort), the check-in process was fine. The rooms are nice compared to some of our others in Peru. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help us when needed. As far as the hotel location goes, it is not the best. It is about 2 miles from the main square in Miraflores. We were hoping we could walk most places, but that was not the case. We had to taxi everywhere.

The hotel is on a very busy street with a lot of car traffic, so it was noisy, hard to sleep at night without ear plugs.

This was my first time in Lima with business and leisure purposes. The staff at the Vila Santa hotel helped to make it a successful and pleasent stay at a fair price. Alba and Yessenia at the front desk and the manager Jessica, they went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure that we were comfortable. They treated us as if we were regular customers. They were eager to help with advice, directions, and dining recommendations. The customer service at this hotel is outstanding!
