Best hotel in AdarePosted Nov 6, 2013
We originally wanted to stay at the Adare Manor, but the Manor was full. We are very happy it was! The staff was extremely pleasant, the setting was beautiful, the rooms clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the Dunraven!

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great spot and the town is a fun place for dinner, to visit a pub, or to just walk around. I found a great river walk near the Abby that was a perfect running spot.

I found the Dunraven hotel to be Outstanding in all areas - particularly in relation to the genuine welcome extended by all staff, the quality of the facilities and the stunning breakfast. I will be back many times in the future!

Great location in beautiful AdarePosted Aug 19, 2013
Charming hotel. However, we stayed on a warm day in August and the air conditioning was turned off. It cooled down after 11 PM, but it was still warm when we went to sleep. Another problem was that I am allergic to down and all the pillows and comforters are down filled. I called the front desk at 10PM and asked for another pillow, and they said they would send one up. After 30 minutes the pillow never appeared, so I got dressed and walked to the front desk. There was no true manager on duty at night, but the young woman assured me they would find a pillow. I waited another 30 minutes, but I never received a non-down pillow, nor did anyone ever call to explain. I slept with a rolled up towel as a pillow.

Wonderful accomodations!Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: The rooms were great. It has a pool and tennis Courts. It has a restaurant and sepaate pub/bar. There are sitting parlors where groups can gather.
Cons: Coffee service in the morning. There are no coffee makers in the room and no general coffee service available until 7:30 a.m.
Location: The location is great w/ regard to the Shannon Airport. Travel to the Cliffs of Moher, Bunn Ratty Castle and Rock of Cashel was quick and easy.
We traveled in a group of 7, needing 3 rooms. All the rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating.

The hotel is as charming as the town of Adare. We stayed here two nights and enjoyed everything about it. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous! Our room was huge, overlooked a lovely courtyard and was nicely appointed. The location was safe and within easy walking distance to just about anything you would want.
