“Excellent, friendly hotel”

My wife and I stoped in Adare after our flight to Shannon on the way to our final destimation to catch our breath after the long trip and the 5 hour time change. We found Fitzgerald's to be a very friendly, high quality hotel. The room was very comfortable. The bar was friendly. The restaurant was good. Breakfast was substantial. We were very pleased.

“Good Adare location”

Overall good stay. The food was great, both at breakfast and in the restaurant. The only quirky thing was that the hotel does not supply the baths with wash clothes which was inconvenient since the bath soap supplied is liquid and not as easy to use without a wash cloth as a bar of soap. the TV remote was a joke. It would not turn the TV on, had to do that from the TV set, but it would trun it off.

We greatly enjoyed this hotel. The hospitality is as advertised!

“Don't stay here is you want a restful night slept!”

We were kept up all night by a party in our hallway. When I called down to the desk at 4:15 AM, I heard the party in the background going on at the front desk as well. I told the front desk clerk about the noise levels keeping me up all night and he said he would send someone up the our hallway to check...............but the noice continued. We told the desk the next morning how terrible our stay was and we would not be returning.
