We stayed there after our wedding. We were both exhausted and wired. The room was wonderful and the staff exceptional. Thanks!!!

Wedding respite

Posted Sep 16, 2014
We booked a total of 8 nights for our wedding party. Everyone loved the rooms, and especially the soft, comfy beds! Everyone was excited but exhausted, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and gracious. Particularly Christopher, who not only helped us with our luggage and car, he was warm and personable, and made our experience that much better. He also got us a wedding gift-goody bag! We intend to stay again some weekend just for a short getaway, and will be calling to find out what weekend Christopher is working. All together a fabulous experience.

Hidden fees

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Would have been nice to know about your vale fee....$60 is a little excessive just to park my car for one night.

Good location for the game.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Close to stadium and restaurant on site.
Cons: Evening reception could use more options for snacks. Tortilla chips and sauces seemed lacking.
Need to be tolerant of the noise and lots of people on game day, but place is great. Would advise valet parking as the best route for car as city owns parking lots and leases them on game days and long term parking meters are few. If you are lucky to get one, can buy all day pass on game day.

Pros: Location
Location: Univ of NE Lincoln
Even though it is a very busy hotel, all of the staff were very pleasant and my room was quiet!

Nice hotel close to everything too do in town.

Cons: little better on the daily cleaning
Starbucks half a block away. 3 Galleries within a two block radius. and the Corn Huskers stadium is out the back door. Allot of restaurant of all kinds with in walking distance and a movie theater across the stree. All the locals are very friendly.

Cons: Different mattresses.
Location: Misty's steak house, across the street, was a delightful dinner after a long drive. A little pricey for this midwestern gal, but well worth it.
Wonderful hotel, with the exception of the mattress. Most uncomfortable bed (full/double) I have slept on. It felt like a fold out sofa, with a metal bar down the middle.

Excellent place to stay

Posted Aug 9, 2014
We stayed here because we were attending a funeral. The room and everyone was top notch. Our funeral was at 10:00a.m. And would of had to leave our home at 3:00 a.m. To get their and find our way around. We decided to leave a day earlier and booked online!! The pictures are great of embassy suites but your own eyes are better. The staff was great and the young gentlemen taking care of our bags were courteous and real careful with our luggage. One other great thing to mention was the breakfast, it was superb. They have a reception in the early evening that we did not take advantage of but talking with another guest said they liked it very much. I would have no problem staying their again. The Barretts

Needs free wi-fi

Posted Aug 4, 2014
The Embassy has always been a great place to stay but I have never understood why wi-fi costs extra here when I can get it free at a Super 8. Based on what the rooms cost, I would think that nickel & diming us for internet seems foolish. Besides, with most people being able to use a smartphone as a portable wi-fi Hotspot that nobody is willing to pay for Internet anyways.
