Nice Hotel but the need bigger beds!

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: The reception party and the pool.
Cons: Queen size beds!!!
Location: Husker Football and Haymarket
The reception party is nice. I just feel they should have queen size beds instead of doubles for the rate they charge.

Nice hotel close to UNL and Memorial Stadium

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location can't be beat. Having breakfast and a few cocktails included helps to offset the higher price to stay here. Nice big comfortable rooms.
Cons: Breakfast needs to be reconfigured - set up another breakfast station next to the other bar on the opposite side so that it is not so congested.
Location: UNL and Memorial Stadium are just a few blocks away. Walking distance to go to the Haymarket District and lots of restaurants and stores nearby.
We came to town for the Spring Game and were able to stay here. Don't expect to self park on any game day including spring game. The hotel has no owned parking and the City closes the ramps for games so you will valet or not park. Valet parking is reasonable and the valets are quick and efficient, just plan on that expense. The rooms are big and comfortable. Our room was not well cleaned though - we moved the ottoman to pull out the sofabed and there was a cheeto under it. The hotel on game day is a zoo. Expect long delays for an elevator - lots of kids playing on them too which made it worse. The breakfast buffet is good but the line for the order breakfasts were sometimes 30+ people. There is only one station with 2 cooks so expect to wait if you want any bacon, omelet or sausage. The buffet had french toast sticks, scrambled eggs, country potatos and cold items - grapefruit slices, yogurt, cereal, breads. Coffee, milk, chocolate milk and soft drinks. On game day, the staff had a hard time keeping up but they did a good job. Our check in and check out were fast. Very close to the stadium and walking distance to the Haymarket.

Stayed here for the NU Spring game

Pros: Great staff, comfortable rooms...excellent place for true Husker fans!
Cons: Breakfast line is long.
Location: In the heart of Husker nation!
Great place to stay during a game weekend!! They do hike up the price for those weekends, but it is so conveniently located that it is worth every penny! The staff is polite, fun, and knowledgeable. We have never had a negative experience after several stays at this location.

Great Stay at Hotel in Downtown Lincoln

Posted Apr 6, 2015
My fiance, a friend of ours and I had a wonderful time at the Embassy Suites in downtown Lincoln. The room was spacious, clean and very nice. Our friend slept on the couch, which he said was very comfortable. Our bed had wonderful bedding and plush pillows. I also used the sauna and pool, which were in good condition and were very relaxing. The complimentary breakfast we received in the morning was also delicious! I would definitely recommend to a friend. We will definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend the location. Close to downtown and things to do. Staff very friend. Great services. But plan on paying $9 per day for parking. I felt safe and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too!

Good hotel in sowntown

This was a great set up for the kids in our groups. Had a blast swimming. Enjoyed to complimentary beverages. Floors were not as clean as I would have expected for an Embassy. Overall though great stay and will stay again.

Awesome but lacked a bit...

Posted Feb 10, 2015
The room was great. The beds on the other hand weren't so great. They were a bit hard. For the price I also thought the bathroom lacked a little better designing. Besides that, the staff was wonderful, Tue breakfast buffet was delicious, and the overall hotel was Top Class. Definitely will be staying there again.
