“It's a place to stay if you want to sleep OK”

Good service, but over priced. Pool is small, no fridge in the room. Stayed over Thankgiving while with family and were gouged for double rate because of football game.

“Clean and Comfortable”

The beds were very nice, soft and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, loved the waffles. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful. Overall good place to stay while in Lincoln.

“Will definitely be back”

I recently had the chance to stay a couple nights at fairfield inn and have to say, I absolutely loved it. I was confused when I was trying to book, reading all reviews and that, trying to decide what was best. But I went with it and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were nice, especially without the ugly floral comforters you normally get at a hotel. The staff was so helpful with letting me check in hours ahead of time since I had no one to go and everyone always had a smile on their face. I have to go back in a couple weeks and will for sure stay here again. Thank you all. :)

“Nice hotel”

Our stay was pleasant. The room was well kept and clean. The front desk staff was a little hard to find at times. There is a basic continental breakfast. The location of the hotel isn't close to the interstate. There are industrial / storage area backing up to the hotel, it wasn't a problem but isn't a very nice view from the window.

“Pretty Happy but not 100%”

This was my first time booking with expedia and I was happy with it. I was pretty satisfied with Fairfield Inn until I showered. My shower curtain was moldy! Other than that the room appeared clean and very modern. The air conditioning was already turned on in preparation for us to stay, so we didn't have to sit in a hot room until it cooled off (since it was already 90 degrees outside). One other thing I did not like about the hotel service was the two times I went to the front desk, I had to wait 5-10 minutes (no exaggerating here) for the desk clerk to realize I was there. There was no bell to ring and the two different clerks almost seemed annoyed I took them away from their back room when they FINALLY came out.

Area recommendations

Depending on your age, downtown Lincoln is always fun on the weekends. Lots of bar, dining, movies and fun things to do.

“Great value”

Picked this hotel because of price and other reviews. Needed basics as we were only in Lincoln to visit an ill Aunt. The staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to accomodate. Room was clean and breakfast a do it yourself type that had many choices. Ate dinner at Carlos Obriens one night across the street which was very good Will go back if ever in Lincoln again.

“Good Lincoln, NE hotel”

Clean, courteous, nice place for the price, and we did get an Expedia rate below the posted rate, good access just off a main arterial in the north part of Lincoln.

Area recommendations

Lincoln is small enough that the area where you stay is not of great importance unless you stay close enough to your destination that you can walk. So staying in one of the newer hotels at a lower price than downtown can get you as good a room as in the few downtown hotels. Public transportation is not good, plan on driving or a taxi from your lodging to destinations. I am not aware of any high crime areas with lodging accomidations, so that is not much of a concern. Lincoln still has both college town and small town atmosphere, more of that than of a city.
