Condition of motel

overall condition just fair. The room had been painted which made it better but the entry door hadbig gaps on the bottom and sides. Just glad it wasnot winter.

Staff went out of their way

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Perhaps the form on Expedia needs to have a check box for pets
Location: I don't know
We had a mistake with our booking. We had chosen this hotel because it was pet-friendly but didn't see any place to indicate we were bringing our dog. I didn't know it mattered but the city has rule on maximum number of pets in the building (who knew?). When we got there, late on a Friday night, they didn't have a pet room for us. We had already paid. We had driven 9 hours that day, and were exhausted. The desk clerk got in touch with the owner, who contacted another hotel owner and got us a room there, with only a small pet fee. That was really going above and beyond, and I appreciate it very much!

LACK OF GENERAL BASIC HOUSE KEEPING.

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: LOCATION AND PRICE
Cons: CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN.
THE BUILDING BEING RUN DOWN A LITTLE WAS EXPECTED AT THE PRICE, THE DIRTY Q TIPS AND OTHER TRASH LEFT IN THE ROOM ALONG THE BACK SIDE OF FURNITURE SHOWED THAT HOUSE KEEPING WAS DONE TO A LEVEL OF IF YOU DONT LOOK YOU WONT NOTICE. THIS WOULD NOT BE A BAD PLACE TO STAY ON A CHEAP BUDGET IF IT WAS JUST CLEANED UP A LITTLE AND SOME OF THE MAINTAINENCE MAY NEED TO BE LEFT TO SOMEONE WITH A LITTLE BIT OF TRADE KNOW HOW.

Worn, but clean

Posted Mar 3, 2014
It was an older hotel, but the bathroom was clean and the bed for comfortable. The furniture was quite old. For the money I was very happy with my stay.

Convenient location

They are obviously refurbishing this hotel. Staff were very helpful. Quickly gave us an alternate room when a problem with room became evident. Lack of a clock and coffee pot made stay less pleasant, Only the main pathways were cleaned so there was food around the bases of the beds and behind nite stand, Bathroom was clean. I gave a 2 because staff were so nice and helpful but would not stay at this location again.

Okay for the price

It's not that great of a hotel. It is kind of dirty, but the price is the best in the city and for one night (just to sleep and leave) it's not bad.

Close to Memorial Stadium

Only spent one night in Lincoln and just needed a place to stay and the room was fine. Area is nothing to brag about but the stay was fine and the staff were friendly.

Warning!

Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: It was cheep
Cons: CLEANLINESS!!!! Fix up the room just a bit, maybe a coat of paint to cover the questionable stains on the white-ish walls
Location: Airport was just across the street, as well as a McDonalds and in a clean part of town.
No heat, bullet holes in the dry wall in the room, open condom wrapper IN sheets, dirty sheets, the room was a mess. Not to mention the noises from neighbors turning on the water (the pipes sounded like they were going to burst). Smoke detector was ripped from the sealing. Found a drug scale tucked under the mattress and there was chewed gum on the head board. I guess you get what you pay for, and 41$ a night is cheep but I should have spent a few more dollars for at least a place with heat in the room.

Surprised

Pros: ok
Cons: Heat was not thermostatically controlled, switch was broken and confusing to heat room as it was a window unit.
I booked on expedia only to find the marquee ouside of the hotel had a lower price.
