Not the hotel in the picture!Posted Aug 12, 2014
We pulled up to hotel and I had to double check to make sure I had the right address! The hotel I was looking at was NOT the one in the picture from this website. It was clear that people where living in the hotel and it looked sketchy at best. I was glad that I did not prepay on the website and did not stay here. Buyer beware!!

Close to attractionsPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to capitol, museum and other attractions.
Cons: Clean the floor
Location: The capitol building, downtown area are very interesting.
Close to the capitol (the reason for the visit) and within walking distance to many other attractions. Room was small but pleasant although you tended to "stick" to the tiled floor in the kitchen area. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Okay to stay for a short time and for the price.

Convenient to downtown areaPosted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: The room layout.
Cons: Maintenance and new linen.
The layout of the room was good, having a sitting area and bedroom, but the kitchenette utensils were poor and not sufficient. The bathroom was in need of maintenance and the sheets and towels were worn.

Ok hotel!Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Within walking distance to downtown & college!
Cons: Make sure wifi works!
Location: State Capitol, downtown shopping, UNL campus-- not a bad drive to either shopping mall!
The hotel was nice & quite. Beds a bit uncomfortable but not horrible. Not the cleanest hotel but not the dirtiest I have stayed in! Our biggest disappointment was the promise of wifi & then it didn't even work.

Nice clean hotel with uncomfortable beds & pillowsPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: It is very close to downtown which is very nice!
Cons: Replace the beds & pillows!
The hotel is being remodeled and the rooms are very clean with new carpet throughout. The only problem we had was that the beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are very flat.

I liked the feel of two bedroomsPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Semi privacy with the two bedroom feel.
Cons: New pillows & a fluffy comforter. Plus figuring out how to keep dinner smells in the managers apartment.
Location: Walked all around downtown but needed good hiking shoes since it was a mile to the haymarket.
I liked the feel of two bedrooms and a full refrigerator but the beds were average and pillows were flat. The only annoying thing was the spices in the managers dinner always permeated the lobby and our floor all day long.

Decent place, close to market and venuesPosted May 31, 2014
Pros: Staff was pleasant, no checkin/checkout hassle, rooms were clean and mostly comfortable. Close to where we wanted to be.
Cons: The bathroom seemed a bit cramped. You'll smack the knees of someone sitting on the toilet if you open the bathroom door. Otherwise, it was fine.
Location: About 2 blocks southeast from the 'market' itself - 5 minute walk to Bourbon Theatre. Tons of places close enough to order food in if it's late.
My wife and I stayed here because it was very close to the market, and it was quite a bit cheaper than the 'big' hotels. We specifically booked it because we were going to the Bourbon Theatre for a concert, and this is just a couple blocks away. The surrounding area looks a bit sketchy at first glance (amazing the difference 2 blocks can make), but the hotel itself is fine. The staff was pleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a little cramped, but it was fine overall. We will definitely be booking here in the future when we come into Lincoln if the price comparison remains how it is now.
