Lovely rural mansion in scenic settingPosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: The beautiful old house and the welcoming hosts who made it such a pleasant experience.
Location: Visit Lincoln and the stunning cathedral
Although we arrived late without giving prior notice, the owner (Andrew) politely let us in and showed us to our spacious room with separate bathroom. All possible facilities were laid on, including a coffee / tea making equipment, shower gel, shampoo etc and free wifi. We were welcomed to breakfast by Andrew and Carol and offered a range of different hot and cold home cooking. We spent time afterwards chatting to Andrew on the patio (overlooking open countryside) as he was in no hurry to get us to leave. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay at Glebe House.

Georgian hospitalityPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: The location and the room were first rate
Location: I stayed ther because I was volunteering at the RSPB Birdfair on Rutland Water.
Quite simply the best B&B experience I have evr enjoyed. Carol and Andrew have a beautiful Georgian house in splendid grounds. They were perfect hosts and couldn't have done more to make my stay very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to everybody without hestitation.

An absolute pleasure to stay herePosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This Georgian house is truly stunning. A serene location with beautiful gardens and a very warm welcome from Carole and Andrew. The room had so many charming features and extras; high ceiling, wonderful bed linen, fresh flowers and big sash window overlooking the garden and fields. Breakfast was most enjoyable in the smart dining room and included local produce, fruit compote and yogurt, fresh coffee and juice, all served with fine quality linen and cutlery. I stay in hotels regularly for work and Glebe House is most certainly an exceptional find. I hope to return!

The epitome of country livingPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Glebe House was chosen due its proximity to Arena UK Equestrian Centre, where our daughter and friends were competing over a weekend. But, whatever the reason for the visit it was simply the most lovely experience. Carole rang us the evening before to check everything was OK and welcomed us when we arrived. The bedroom was simply stunning, bringing together the real charm of its Georgian heritage with all the mod cons required by today's lifestyle (free wifi, huge shower, bottled water, nice teas - and a four-poster bed to boot). Breakfast was prepared at a time of our choosing and was delicious with home baked bread and home made jam. Probably the best B&B you could find.

Just fantasticPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The only reason I m giving this place five stars is that I can't give it 6. Nothing is too much trouble for these people who literally could not be nicer. The level of hospitality here is better than any 5 star place I ve ever stayed in. You will NEVER find better than this unless you hire your own place outright.

Fantastic PlacePosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed for a couple of nights whilst away on business. The room was fantastic, the hosts were really friendly (the cup of tea on arrival was really welcome after my 5 hour trip) Breaksfast was great - cooked to order, and with homemade bread fresh every day. Fabulous value for money.

Posh and plush!Posted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
A lovely large house which lets out a couple of its large, plush rooms. I had to walk 5 yards down the corridor to my bathroom but it was for my use alone and very big and clean. It's set in wonderful gardens, very posh! A pleasant couple who serve up a cracking breakfast. It's location is 5-6 miles from Grantham in a quiet neighbourhood.

Lovely lovely hosts, building and experiencePosted May 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Travelling with business sometimes throws up surprises like Glebe House. Utterly gorgeous house, decor and surroundings and a very warm welcome for a tiny price compared to dire bland Premier Inn's etc. My only regret is that I couldn't lurk around in the morning to enjoy the surroundings a little more!

Stunning accommodation & location, superb!Posted May 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
You really will feel like Lord or Lady of the Manor at Glebe House! This stunning accommodation is set in beautiful grounds and within a lovely, tranquil location. The rooms are very large and spotlessly clean and the owners go out of their way to provide superior service in all respects. Breakfast was excellent and from a wide ranging choice of food/drink with homemade bread, fruit, cereals and preserves. The ensuite bathroom was large and the adjoining bathrooms for other rooms are huge with proper bath tubs too! Lovely character of this property which is steeped in history, it feels more like staying in a 5 star hotel and you will get incredible value for money here, feeling refreshed, away from the hustle and bustle of life! Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it!
