The room had been sprayed and was overpowering. The mattress was not comfortable as it was not supportive. My room was on the ground floor and dual aspect, in fortunately both run along side a busy road so the room was noisy until around midnight. Breakfast service started at 8am so no good for me as I had to be at work. I looked but couldn’t see any smoke detectors in my room. All in all. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great BnB
The staff are superb, so helpful, they are also a very good Indian restaurant so you need to try the food. Only two complaints (neither are the fault of the BnB) first night a fan was left on somewhere downstairs, this gets surprisingly annoying when it’s peaceful. Night two, the couple next door had their television on loud all night. But don’t let that put you off, the BNB is very good.

Fab place
Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely room and ensuite very clean and fresh. Breakfast was lovely but no vegan milk. Would definitely stay here again.

Our biggest complaint is that the internet coverage failed and the poor person on staff could not restart it. The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable. The only staff person had limited English and while he tried his best, I was not always sure he understood a request (or us his response). Not his fault, and he was very pleasant and desired to be helpful.

Initial impression very nice building. The rooms were separate & across the road from the main building in a converted bungalow. However, cleanliness non-existent! Room 5 - Dust everywhere and the shower could not be used at it was covered in slimy, black mold!. No plug in sink. Room 6 - the outdoor area filthy with full bins & an old b-b-q tray left on the table. Lawns unkept. Tap in sink loose, mold in shower. Dust and cob-webs everywhere. Staff nowhere to be seen....Doors left to slam shut were extremely noisy! Generally, the place is nice but completely unkept. English language seems to be a barrier as the person we spoke to - an Asian gentleman - was hard to understand & he certainly didn't understand us. I asked what time breakfast was & he said 7.30 across the road in the main building. We were ready next morning but the place was shut, breakfast had not been served as staff had forgotten to put it on (saying they hadn't been informed by the house-keeper!!) We went elsewhere both mornings!

Two night stay with free breakfast
I believe the hotel has changed ownership? Why didn’t Hotels.com say this on the site? The previous owners had very good reviews! My stay was very disappointing. Small cramped and dirty room(the carpet hadn’t been hoovered,and my partner found a half eaten bag of crisps behind bedside table!) The new owners are Indian. Breakfast, I ordered scrambled eggs on toast(consisted of finely chopped boiled egg on a slice of thinly buttered toast that was cold. I couldn’t eat it. They need lessons on British food and how to cook it! My partners was as bad. We didn’t stop for breakfast the last day ! It was an awful experience! Hotels.com please update the reviews for the new owners? I will never be going back to this so called Hotel and wouldn’t recommend anyone else does!

Good value for money.
Good value for money stop-over. Free on-sight parking. Cosy room but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was only luke warm but otherwise we enjoyed the stay.

Overall the stay was OK. I didn't realise it was part of an Indian Restaurant. It would have been nice to know as I had already eaten. I had a problem with the room key which was defective. I was moved to an alternative which was fine. Overall the place was OK. The room price was about right.

1st and last visit..will drive miles to avoid..
Room / en-suite both like a fridge, radiators not working, just an electric radiator. Not as advertised, this was a room over an Indian food restaurant, no bar, wouldn't let me sit in the (empty restaurant) so had to take a take away meal up to the room... Insisted I parked my van over the road or in front of the next door pub...! shower was appalling, only way to get warm (ish) water was to have it flat out on full heat but the noise coming from it was horrendous (like a jet engine with knackered bearings) and would have definitely woken up anyone else asleep in the building... Did all he could to avoid me having the advertised breakfast stating that the 0800 slot had been taken by other guests and offered me 0845..can produce loads of different curries at once but can only cook one breakfast at a time...??? Only other guests left at about 0700 so that was clearly a lie..I didn't hang about for the alleged breakfast slot as it was too late for me and i wasn't convinced that anybody would actually turn up to do it anyway..!! Asked for a VAT receipt for the stay, the lad got a bit evasive and said he would email it to me, still waiting for that...!! (tax was charged)(and he had a computer and printer there) I use budget type places for short overnight stops several times a month and this is among the worst service I have received.. Only positive is that there is a warm and friendly pub next door..

Disappointing with the whiff of a pre-2007 stay
I found the place after a bit of hunting, as the ATZ&H name is only on the signage for the parking. There was no problem in getting the key, but as soon as I got upstairs in the venue I could smell the strong odor of cigarette smoke. I unlocked the door to my room and found it clean and tidy with the worst of the smell barred, once the room door was closed. The shared toilet, bath & shower room had a broken window, but was otherwise clean and mould free. Breakfast is served in the Tandoori restaurant at the front; the trouble is, for myself and the other guests, is that their breakfast chef didn't turn up so it turned into a minor panic, so that I could leave on time. So, overall not what I had hoped for my stay, but their coffee's good.

We stayed in a double room in the annexed "detached house" across the road. This was definitely NOT a 3 star establishment so we were a bit disappointed.However, the bed was ok for a comfortable night's sleep. The young lady who was on reception (and cleaning and cooking!) was very efficient and pleasant and when we mentioned a couple of items that needed looking at, they were fixed by the time we returned! (possibly by her?! Breakfast was mediocre. The situation was good for our itinerary. The restaurant right opposite (The Plough) was excellent.

The hotel was really comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the heating was not on which for this time of year is not good, I was however given two electric heater which warmed my room and bathroom beautifully. I had a problem with being able to open the front door and was lucky that there was someone on site when the front door decided to finally stop opening from the outside. I was told it would be looked into the following day, but not ideal for someone who smokes or would have to go out as there is no return due to this. Apart from this the stay was great and I will certainly be staying there again.

This property was perfect for visiting the Lincolnshire Aviation Museum. The room was clean and we had everything needed for a night away from home. The staff were great and the breakfast was lovely.

Power shower excellent and bathroom well ventilated, very quiet, clean accommodation and comfortably warm with plenty of storage space and ceiling fan, double glazed doors lead out onto rear patio and lawn. Bed however possibly a little short for a tall person.

Try’s hard and it was comfortable.
Room 5 on the ground floor was large, comfortable and clean. This family room contained 2 doubles and a single bed in two adjoining rooms. The bathroom was small yet adequate and contained a small shower cubicle, sink and w.c. A shelf would have been a useful addition. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was next door in the Indian restaurant and contained cereal, juice, full English and toast with jam. Very good meal. Cook definitely has skill. I might return if in the area although mostly used by travelling salesman. Free secure parking in rear courtyard or outside restaurant on quiet village road.

Reading the other reviews it cant be the same place. It was a tandorri restaurant!! The staff member was very pleasant. The room was small and shabby, the smallest shower room and sink ive ever seen. Room was up an outside fire exit, tiny corridor in which 2 people couldn't pass. There was noise of males talking and knocking on doors until around 2am. It was NEVER worth £75. check in is in the restaurant which is also where breakfast is served, had a very strong smell of curry. The reviews are misleading
