Nice place - Un-nice managerPosted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Room was clean; Staff was efficient and polite. It was located at the center of this small town.
Cons: The owner/manager could improve by getting a new personality. He was rude and inept. He did not know how to handle a reservation made on Expedia.
Location: Good location. Quiet. There really isn't much to do in this town.
I stayed 3 nights, and asked to stay an additional night. The manager clearly was irritated that I had booked via Expedia. He resented that I got a good rate. When I asked to stay an additional night, he bumped my rate from $47. to $56. On the second night of my stay, an older guest down the way from my room, became ill and the Night Clerk called an ambulance, and the man went to the hospital where he remained with heart failure and kidney failure. The next morning, his daughter came to get her father's things. The manager refused to release the items until the bill was paid. The lady was not prepared to pay the bill and her dad remained in the hospital. The manager was rude and callous. He told the lady that the bill would continue to accrue until she paid it, and she could not remove anything from the room. I was at the front when all this took place. I think this man needs to learn to value his customers as guests, and not people who are trying to rip him off. Days Inn should not allow their name and reputation to be soiled by this kind of behavior. Thank you for listening.

Good place for an overnight stayPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good location for our needs. Adjacent to resteraunt /bar that has a good hot breakfast. Parking for big trucks and trailers which was a pleasant surprise. Decent hotel for the price.

Was satisfied for just having a place to sleep for my son's graduation, but if I were on vacation I would of been a little disappointed.

The hotel was very good for the price. However the breakfast was a bust. Nothing worked in the kitchen and they did not restock that morning.

Clean and absolutely adequatePosted Nov 15, 2012
Pros: Clean and comfortable,pleasant staff
Location: Right off the highway on an access road, in the middle of nowhere
Yes it's an older Days Inn. But the Wifi was free, the breakfast was free, and the staff was very nice. The room - dated for sure, but clean. Great curtains, so the room was dark for sleeping which I like. We were the first room next to the hotel door, but still quiet. This hotel is set back from the main road on an access road, so no traffic noises. Heater/air conditioner in the room, worked great. Bed adequate, pillows adequate (but I have to admit I pretty much feel that way about all hotel mattresses and pillows so no reflection on the hotel). Shower hot, towels clean. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room and all worked. At this price point, this was a fine place to stay for a few nights while we had business in the area.

Pleasant StayPosted Sep 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
Overall, this hotel was pretty good. The women at the front desk are nice. The room was a little stuffy when we first got there, but was soon alleviated once the air conditioning unit was turned on. The bed was comfortable with PLENTY of pillows! Decent channels. The toilet had a bit of trouble flushing but no bid deal. The pool was in good order and COLD!

Not bad if staying one night.Posted Sep 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
Room was ok, but the bar next door was loud, which is not bad if you didn't have kids trying to sleep. Beds were very comfortable, is in need of upgrades in room. Was not bad for the price. Would not stay for more than one night at a time.
