Nice HotelPosted Apr 2, 2014
This hotel is conveniently located close to Rossio, the Alfama and the Baixa and Metro. Also near is the El Cortes mall which in addition to clothing is great for cheese, wine, chocolates and food. We stayed five days and enjoyed walking to these places. The hotel staff were friendly and were willing to take that extra step to help. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here next time I visit.

Great for a short stayPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: value for money, friendly staff
Cons: Internet with cable only, AC straight above your head when in bed.
Location: the location was ok near the underground but quite isolated from restaurants and bars
It's a nice hotel for a short stay. Quite well located close to the underground station. However we did not see many restaurants and places to go for drinks nearby, you need to take the metro or walk quite a bit.

Great for a short city breakPosted Apr 6, 2013
Pros: Location and room cleanliness
Cons: No Wi-fi available in room
Location: Right next to a Metro station and within walking distance to main bar and restaurant areas
Stayed there for 3 nights whilst in Lisbon to watch Newcastle United. Could not fault the location which was close to metro station and plenty of bars. Only things which let it down was that there was no Wi-fi in the room and the room was slightly on the small side if bringing more than a few days worth of clothes. 9/10

Great valuePosted Jan 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Two steps from Avenida Liberdade this modern hotel has a friendly staff, good breakfast and bar service, and nice, clean rooms, although on the small side. I had lots of baggage so I was moved to a bigger room, no problems. Free cabled internet in the room, wi-fi in the lounge. There is some construction work next door right now, ask for a room on the opposite side. Not many restaurant options close by, so expect some walking or just take a cab, they are inexpensive.

Ideal for a City BreakPosted Dec 5, 2012
Pros: Reception Staff
Cons: Cannot think of any
Location: Ideal for Metro and City tours. Reasonable walking distance to main attractions and railway stations.
Grand experience exactely what we required for a city break. Sufficient wardrobe space, adequate room size and excellent reception staff who could not have been more friendly and helpfull. Hotel location also excellent. Free internet access and room safe a bonus.

Great central hotel base for signtseeing.Posted Nov 23, 2012
Pros: Good location. Comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Traffic noise if the window is open.
Location: Great central location for sightseeing. Two minutes to the metro and you can travel direct from the airport to the hotel.
The hotel has a small gym on the top floor and the breakfast room turns into a lounge at night; making the best use of its limited communal space. However, if you are visiting as a tourist it is the location that makes this hotel a must. An absolutely perfect base for sightseeing; straight out onto the metro and walking distance to the waterfront and main squares. The rooms are small but very well designed so that you don't feel cramped with good quality facility and services. Breakfast buffet more than adequate to set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for a short breakPosted Nov 4, 2012
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Location: Good location, 15 minute walk to centre of town.
Stayed for 3 nights. The staff could not have been more helpful, recommending restaurants & places to go. Hotel well located for the Metro. Good value. During our stay it was my wife's birthday & the hotel put a bottle of port & 2 glasses in our room.
