Wonderful stayPosted Apr 15, 2014
We stayed at this hotel a year ago and thought it was perfect - great location, staff and the hotel itself is lovely. Yes, the swimming pool is tiny, but why would you want to go for a swim when you can sit and relax in the lounge whilst sipping one of their speciality teas or the port? Will definitely be back!

Lovely position very close to centrePosted Apr 14, 2014
Cons: I would have liked a kettle and tea making facilities and the wifi was a bit intermittent in the room, you needed to be in a certain place,
Location: Opposite the Gloria elevator so eay access to the Barrio
Enjoyed the stay, good facilities - tea available at any time in the lobby and also port and muscatel!

faultlessPosted Apr 11, 2014
This was one of the best hotel experiences we've had in years. The Heritage is in an excellent position, minutes away from the Rossio Train Station (trains for Sintra), a short walk to the famous Tram 28 and the metro. The rooms were superb and amazingly quiet and the staff were extremely helpful. We didn't have time to try out the pool and health suite but were very impressed by the standard of both. After a busy day sightseeing it was especially nice to return to the comfy hotel bar and enjoy a complimentary herbal tea and glass of port. All in all a completely faultless visit!

Good 4 star hotel in central LisbonPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Very polite and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was available until about noon, so no pressure in the mornings. Complimentary tea and coffee all day.
Cons: Not much!
Location: It is close to the central tourist and shopping area and there is a good choice of restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes' walk, from budget to upmarket.
This hotel is convenient for walking into the central part of Lisbon and is close to a wide choice of restaurants. It does not have its own restaurant, only serving breakfast. Being British, it was very useful that all the staff spoke good English. The hotel is close to bus routes and two Metro stations. We used the airport bus to get to and from the hotel on arrival and departure - the bus stop is only 5 minutes walk away near the Restauradores Metro station. Avenida Liberdade is a wide, main road into central Lisbon but that is not a problem because the hotel is situated on a parallel service road, which only carries local traffic.

Great Hotel Great LocationPosted Apr 8, 2014
From check-in to check-out, the staff could not have been more pleasant and more accommodating. The rooms have dramatic high ceilings and the juxtaposition between old and new works well. Centrally located, you can walk or take public transportation easily to most areas. Breakfast buffet is a wide array of fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, etc. In the evening enjoy a glass of complimentary port.

Very clean and comfortable hotelPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The relaxing and warm atmosphere after a hard day sightseeing
Cons: I can not think of anything as we enjoyed our stay very much
Location: The Hotel is ideally situated within easy reach of all the main attractions, The Moorish district of Alfama and the Restaurant area of Baixa.
All staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. From helping with where to eat, the best way to get about and the best places to go sightseeing. At the end of our stay a taxi was arranged to take us to the Airport and our Airline check in done online by a very helpful Andrew on Reception.

Good locationPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location, tea/coffee/port/ biscuits/nuts always available & very pleasant staff
Cons: Having to eat breakfast in the lounge lobby is not the most comfortable venue for eating so perhaps a few higher tables & chairs wouldn't go amiss.
Location: The more interesting locations eg Sintra & Jeronimos Monastery are a train/tram ride away. Whether it was time of our visit we felt Barrio was lacking
The hotel is closer to the Restauradores Aerobus stop right outside Hard Rock Cafe, than Avenida Liberdade. It's quite quiet but bear in mind that we visited at end of March so season not in full swing. Many 'average' restaurants close by but probably better to use a recommended site if fine dining is your choice

This hotel got everything right!Posted Apr 2, 2014
We were welcomed and cosseted. One big room for greeting, meeting, eating worked brilliantly. Tiny gym and pool were great. Only problem: website doesn't tell it's story adequately.
