Excelent location, metro station right outside the hotel. Rooms are clean. It's a very good choice.

Fantastic location, great value!Posted Jun 1, 2012
Pros: Location, location, location
Location: 50 yards from the metro stop, 10 minutes on the metro from city centre,
The hotel was very good for the price. Free breakfast was included and the staff spoke good english and were very polite. For our first night we were put in a twin room despite booking a double but we were moved for the rest of our stay. Fantastic location, perfect.

Basic hotel appearance and sanitation.Posted Apr 15, 2012
Pros: The location to public transport good
Cons: Cleanliness and lack of pride in the managing staff to check basic service and room conditions.
Location: Not bad and accessabile with local public transport.
Upon arrival, the young manager was very helpful. I went to my room which had no number on the door, the curtain on the one side had been damaged, there was no plug in the bath and I only received it 3 days after my arrival, the day before I returned to Barcelona. The walls in the lobby on my floor were dirty and marked, not cleaned with streaks! On only one day did I get shower gel, all the others just shampoo but I don't have hardly any hair! Overall disappointed. No hotel on the outside of the building, had I not asked for assistance from another Hotel.

Stay ElsewherePosted Mar 24, 2012
Cons: No Gym, shortages at breakfast
Location: Slum, litter in the streets, people sleeping rough, pickpockets, etc
Where do I begin, well the room was clean with plenty of hot water available, also the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However there was a number of dissapointing things about the hotel, location is in a very scruffy although close to a subway station so easy to get elsewhere. First night we asked for extra pillows fo our bed but although promised we never saw them during the 7 nights we were there. I was surprised to find the room also didn't have a chair, very unusual for a 3 star hotel, also housekeeping was very late some days (after 5pm) which is a time we wanted to chill in our room before getting ready to go out for a meal. Some of the property ammenities described on expedia don't exist :- 1. Gym (one of the reasons i choose this hotel) - despite a photo on expedia of a state of the art facility I can assure everyone this doesn't exist, in fact when i asked one of the staff laughed saying they were too smal for a gym. 2. Coffee shop/cafe - doesn't exist 3. cash exchange - didn't have enough money tin the till behind the bar to give me change for a 20euro note, had to go to another hotel to get some change. 4. Bathroom phone - having a laugh i think. Breakfast - was ok (just basic help yourself stuff) but kept running out of things, one day plates and when i asked the girl keeping everthing topped up she told me and other guests to use a saucer. I'm not blaming the staff the were nice but need more people.
