Nice hotel, very centralPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Central location and friendly staff.
Cons: The breakfasts. The hot food wasn't very hot and neither was the tea or coffee. Nice selection of fruit and pastries though.
Location: Central location close to Avenida Metro Station. Could also easily walk into the centre at say Rossio.
Excellent, friendly and helpful reception staff. I had booked a "Golden Age" double. What we got was something approaching a suite, with a spacious bedroom, an ante-room with a desk and daybed, and a roomy and well equipped bathroom. Good value.

Fantastic Hotel, Fab staff!!Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Rooms are a great size.
We spent 4 days in Lisbon and had an amazing time. Hotel was just fantastic, rooms are very spacious. We are own our honeymoon and they left us a bottle of champagne and grapes in a room when we return on the first day. The staff were so friendly and could help us enough.

Hotel Britania, Lisbon - warm and friendly hotel.Posted Jul 18, 2014
My wife and I had a long weekend in Lisbon and after much research, decided on the Hotel Britania. The room was spacious and the bed fantastically comfortable. Every single member of staff was very friendly and happy to help and restaurant recommendations were spot on. The only drawback is the lack of a pool/roof terrace but everything else including the breakfast was excellent.

Not to be missed - a hotel with real characterPosted Jun 18, 2014
The Hotel Britania was the most friendly hotel I have stayed at in a long time. The Art Deco design makes for a beautiful building, but what really made the whole thing was the quality of service. The location was great - just off the Av. Liberdade so a short walk in to the centre, and very close to the nearest Metro (Avenida). Rooms are well equipped and kept spotless. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Lisbon

Great Find!Posted May 22, 2014
We stayed 3 days in mid-April. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful boutique hotel. We had such a lovely large room and bathroom. Every area of this hotel was spotlessly clean. The location is great. It's on a quiet street, one block from beautiful shops and great restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the late afternoon port and treats. As for the staff, I can't begin to use enough superlative adjectives to describe Raquel and Marco. They were there for our every need. They warmly greeted us as we came and went and were so intent on our having a wonderful experience in Lisbon. They are truly the city's good will ambassadors. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
