Great hotel with great facilities

Posted Sep 8, 2014
We were out in a group of three couples. The hotel was perfect for us, great pool / sunbathing area, great gym, super restaurants and bars. If we felt like a change of scenery it was only 10 minutes to walk into town along the beach, a beautiful walk.

Spent 8 nights at this lovely hotel. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Great pool area and lovely touches from the staff bringing round cold flannels, fresh fruit juices and frozen grapes to help you cool down.

Best hotel around and 5 star without a doubt

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: All of it.
Cons: Soft drinks cheaper
Location: Best location around. Train station close only takes 20 mins to get into Lisbon. Very cheap & clean trains. Best beach around and went on for miles.
The hotel was first class. Every where was spotless. The pool was beautifully clean and you had pool towels to put on the sun beds. Soft drinks were a bit expensive - 4 euros for a small cranberry & soda with loads of ice. We had a meal in the al carte restaurant, which wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be. In fact it came to the same price as our previous evenings meal, which was in the town, 10 mins walk away. Food was better in the hotel! Over the road from the hotel is the long clean the beach. Very safe to walk and has small restaurants and bars. You can even jump on the train, which is 5 min walk from the hotel and go into Lisbon for the day. Only cost 3.50 euros each and you get the tickets from the machines on the station. Make sure you get one at at time, as you need the ticket at the other end to get through the barrier.. The last stop is Lisbon so you can't miss it. The whole of Cascais is lovely and there are smaller hotels if thats what you want. But once you have stopped at the Miragem you will want to go back. Very impressive hotel.

Service at Breakfeast was very good however service at lunch at the pool area was beyond bad. There is no concierge and restaurant advice from the front desk was terrible. When we were leaving we requested a taxi from the doorman .A Mercedes arrived and I didn't realize there was no meter until we were on our way.We were charged. 60 Euro for what would have been a 35 Euro taxi ride.

Amazing hotel!

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Everything!!!!
Cons: Nothing - it is perfect!
Location: Great base for visiting Lisbon, Belem, Sintra and Estoril. The train and bus stations are only 5 - 10 mins walk away.
This is a fantastic hotel on the edge of Cascais. It has a beautiful infinity pool on the 3rd floor with great sea and marina views. There are loads of loungers and lovely thick pool towels are supplied. Our room overlooked the pool/sea with a large balcony, the room was serviced twice a day. The hotel is beautifully furnished and immaculate both inside and out. The staff throughout the hotel are very well trained and you really feel like nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast buffet is superb. We will be visiting again!!

Lovely hotel, close to beach.

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Location near beach. Good service at pool with towels, cushions and parasols. Beautiful views.
Cons: Service in outside bar . Only one restaurant open in evening, would have liked a buffet, too.
Location: Close to beach and shopping area
Had a terrible accident whilst cycling and the staff were very good bringing me ice packs
