Nice simple hotel without any frills. Hotel a little outdated. Free wifi and breakfast included. Near metro station which was very convenient. Surrounding area seemed a little sketchy

Stay herePosted Dec 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay in Dom Carlos Park was very pleasant. It was so easy to get to from the airport by train. The staff were very friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast always had a great selection of pastries and other food. The price was inexpensive too. I would recommend staying here:)

GoodPosted Nov 8, 2013
It would better serve if there is facility for iron in room or to borrow from the reception desk it would be more enjoyable if there is facilities for making morning tea in the room

The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful to us. We would also like to say a special thank you to the Mini Bus Driver who took us to Fatima and on a tour during our stay. We will be back

Good Price and Good LocationPosted Sep 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed at the Dom Carlos whilst a relative was in hospital, the staff were helpful, accommodating the changes I needed to make during my stay and printing out documents. The breakfast was ideal and was served from 7:15 - 11:30. The rooms were spacious, had free Wi-Fi and a good cleaning service. The location may appear to be a bit out of the centre but the metro is just across the street and loads of buses leave from Marques Pombal so travelling around town was easy.

overall it was a good placePosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located in a very good spot, its a small hotel. The breakfast is not changing at all. The lift is so tiny, hard to get in if you are more than 2! The personnel are friendly and helping. The AC went off once, and it is not working very good in some rooms. Also getting a good room is by chance. We had a interconnected so actually it was two rooms. The internet was good.

Comfortable and convenientPosted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is super convenient, right next to a metro stop. But walking down the tree lined streets was fantastic without use of the metro. There was a free breakfast, which was nice, but it was the same every morning, which got old after 4 days. Staff was very friendly and most spoke English very well! Would definitely recommend you to stay there.

Nice Hotel but Far from SightsPosted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
While the hotel is nice and had elevators and a good breakfast, it was several metro stops from most sights. The metro has very lose (150 feet) and the Avenue Liberdade is a retry tree-lined boulevard with parks. The area has banks and large corporation, but on the weekend we didn't find any restaurants close by. The sights in Lisbon are very distant from one another nd the bus/tram system confusing. The best thing to do is take a tour to the castle and Belem Tiwer. It would save a lot of walking! Sintra is a great place to visit.

Pros: Staff was very helpful!
Cons: Hotel has a little age on it, but still nice and a good deal.
Location: City center.
Had a nice stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is close to the big trafic circle right off the main aveune that leads to the old town.
